I recommend the Putnam sandwich. Turkey, lettuce, tomato, brie cheese with this crazy-good honey mustard (ask for extra) and the bread is good enough to forget that you should not be eating carbs. Great grocery supplier for those specialty items, too,

We stopped in Saratoga Springs on our way to the Albany Airport and selected the Putnam Market mostly by chance for our lunch stop. It is a combination gourmet market, deli (with hot food and a salad bar) and a bakery. Yes, ordering and paying and picking up your order is a little confusing (it was busy when we were... More

We stumbled upon Putnam Market while looking for a place in town that did not have a line for breakfast. I believe Putnam Market had just opened for the day. Breakfast sandwiches were very good. I also grabbed a fresh blueberry muffin. It was hot when I broke it open and I think there was more blueberry than muffin. Probably... More

The variety of reviews from awful to out if this world...disregarding the prices, which i did not find to be outrageous, i thought the food was excellent. There were 3 of us, we got a variety of items from the deli...we were all pleased with the food. I would recommend...

Expensive. Aloof to rude staff. Long wait for overpriced, simple sandwich. Confusing layout. Prepared foods and salad bars not worth the money. No real plates or silverware. Environmentally unsound. "New Saratoga" with no charm.

great deli sandwiches, delicious soups plus a salad bar and lunch bar of homemade dishes...some vegan...plus great desert bar and cheese room in back. Not the cheapest but for gourmet sandwiches, soups, desserts...etc...must visit in Saratoga

We had a great lunch here today, have had many there before too. 3 of us got sandwiches & I had their healthy salad bar. Fun to eat outside on the sidewalk too on this first warm spring day

We stopped here to get a quick lunch. The market has a lot of different things in it and was cool to walk around while we were waiting for lunch. They have hot/cold items on a buffet line but we ordered two sandwiches. They were freshly made (nothing was pre-sliced). I had one of their specialty sandwiches with turkey/honey mustard... More

We browsed through here to check out what they offered. Prices seemed to be high for what you would be getting. We weren't up to the idea of eating food that had been sitting out for who knows how long. More like a buffet consumption style by weight, $9.99/lb. None of the staff seemed inviting or friendly. Probably would not... More

Dry turkey meatloaf. Easiest fix in the world. Menu doesn't change much, which appeals to seniors but not to me. As for the atmosphere...Cockroaches by the salad bar, fruit flies by kitchen, angry chef yelling at staff. No reno can save that.
