Very dark interior. Good welcome and good service. Excellent wine advice. The grilled calamari was as it should be; a little blackened but still juicy. We had sea bass and quail as mains. Both were excellent. Pure. I got two quails. Quails have a risk of becoming dry when cooked. This cook knows how to make a quail; very good!... More

THE spot. Menu inventive and varied. High quality. Delicious. A bit noisy for romance, but worth the food and the scene. Class.

We had a large group here for dinner and I was really impressed. The restaurant had a lot of ambience, the servers were all very good, the apps were REALLY good. My only negative is the short ribs were not great...really fatty. Everyone else said their entrees were terrific however. Portions were large! Wine list is extensive. Looks like reservations... More

This is a great place to come for happy hour, they have $5 wine, mixed drinks, beer and $5 apps. The cheese tray is always a hit, the shrimp delicious every time. Try the chef special appetizer, it is always good. Last week when visiting it was spinach in olive oil with garlic and white beans and let me tell... More

My wife and I go here every year to celebrate our anniversary and we are never disappointed. Great atmosphere, service and food. Would recommend reservations because they are always busy.

When we ordered the special appetizer, buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, the waitress brought a plate with a mozzarella ball the size of a softball, surrounded with a few sliced grape (perhaps cherry) tomatoes. It was off-putting, to say the least. Also, we were shocked by the twenty-plus dollar price, which she had not mentioned.

I was in Saratoga for 3 nights, and ending up having dinner at Chianti for two of them! The first night I went at the recommendation of friends who have eaten there numerous times. I was skeptical - as there praise was so high I felt I was bound to be disappointed..... I was NOT! The service is wonderful, and... More
