If my wife and I go out to eat, this is our place. Amazing food EVERY time. Servers who pay attention to you, a staff that keeps things moving and clean, a menu that could charge more given it's quality (but doesn't), and an experience that always seems to meet expectations. [no, I don't work there or own it] The... More

We arrived on time for our reservation. The attitude of the hostess was less than desirable for what is a lead service position in a nicer dining establishment. When we sat down in the middle of what is a lively atmosphere we noticed a table just being cleared in the corner and asked to sit there. Our 'escort' said she... More

Based on Tripadvisor, we choose to visit Chianti. We arrived early with reservations and we seated in A dining room where we were the only people. This provided the opportunity for the owner to stop and visit. We had a great conservation about this farm which raises most of his produce. The wine list was extensive and on lauded by... More

I was surprised for a small town in upsate NY that such a trendy urban feeling restaurant would exist. We loved this restaurant from the moment we walked in, It was lively, and friendly. The service was fantastic. The food was excellent although a bit too Tuscan for me, however the chef worked with me and I had a dinner... More

Had the calamari in tomato broth and it was fantastic. Had the a pasta dish and it was spectacular. Eat here every time I visit the area. Have had many different pasta entres and they have all been wonderful. Staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. Can wait to go back.

My husband, myself and another couple ate dinner here on Friday Sept. 19, 2014. When we walked in the sound level was painfully loud but I thought that was because the entrance abuts the bar, which was full. I was very disappointed to discover that the noise level increased as we were seated in the rear of the restaurant. As... More

Chianti has a chic and warm and inviting ambiance. It's a hot spot, so it can be loud. Bar is very popular to hang out and it's cool with a backlit stone counter. Menu is classic Italian. Fresh bread with olive oil & balsamic a great start. The carpaccio with Gorgonzola fondue was exceptional and the spinach salad with liqueur... More

If you are looking for quiet and romance, this may not be the place for you. But if you want to be treated to a lively evening, in an eclectic modern environment with a magnificent wine list and spectacular food then don't miss out. Chianti's was my choice for our group's vacation dinner out. I chose this restaurant based on... More

Very dark interior. Good welcome and good service. Excellent wine advice. The grilled calamari was as it should be; a little blackened but still juicy. We had sea bass and quail as mains. Both were excellent. Pure. I got two quails. Quails have a risk of becoming dry when cooked. This cook knows how to make a quail; very good!... More

THE spot. Menu inventive and varied. High quality. Delicious. A bit noisy for romance, but worth the food and the scene. Class.
