Best mac and cheese

Best macaroni and cheese I've had (should be for the price). The jambalaya was not my favorite. It had an odd flavor. The service was very good, but the tables are sandwiched together. It felt like I was sharing a meal with two sets of strangers. Definitely conversation stifling.

The quality and preparation of the food is good, quite good, but it doesn't justify the high price and small portions. We had the ribeye and burger. Both cooked well with a nice taste but the ribeye ($34) was a cut similar to what you'd receive at a diner and the burger ($18) didn't fill the bun. Instead of advertising... More

Good food, frequently good music, conveniently located. We often prefer their other restaurant Mouzon House.

OCSB is right around the corner. Don't miss it. Something on the menu is sure to float your boat. I tried the gumbo with a side of dirty rice. Super.

Wonderful Bistro/Restaurant - as other reviewers have commented - would have been so easy to walk by and miss it, but pleased we didn't. Food is fresh, local and definitely cooked to order (shouldn't all Restaurants!) On the evening we visited they had an acoustic guitar/ singer - not loud - just nice laid back music, ideal for diner's who... More

We've been to Saratoga a few times before and saw One Caroline Street Bistro before and had thought about trying it out but didn't until this past Saturday. The street is full of bars with bands which is great for a Saturday night but doesn't scream out fine dining. The entrance is also very humble compared to the inside. The... More

We happened upon this place while exploring the Main Drag for a yummy dinner place. Many of the menus were the same or similar with lots of bar food on offer. The "Farm to Table" tagline interested us and the menu looked delicious. The place was decorated with black and white posters of classic singers such as Billie Holiday. The... More

Old world style bar/restaurant. The kind of place one wants to pop in and have a cocktail. Ate dinner, which was wonderful. Well presented and incredibly tasty. The mac'n'cheese is out of this world. Could be a shared course paired with starter. I returned two days for a drink and to listen to the music. Both nights there was excellent... More

We had a very good meal here with excellent service. The duck was delicious. The sauce on the risotto was outstanding but the rice could have been cooked a tad more (it was a little too chewy). The caramel cake was super. We would definitely go back again when in Saratoga.

We've been to one Caroline many times. it just gets better. Food is fresh and inventive; staff is young and savvy. One of the few places that you can get a table on a Saturday night without reservations.
