We went here after reading the reviews, what a disappointment. My wife had duck breast and asked that it be medium, the waitress was afraid to ask this Chef to prepare it. When it arrived it was extremely rare. We sent it back it came back barely changed. This guy thinks he can tell the customers how to have their... More

I have had the pleasure of dining at Sperry's on numerous occasions and until last night always a wonderful experience. Last night was hopefully an exception, the popovers were over baked and the carpaccio was spoiled with the use of canned Parmesan cheese, if it was not canned cheese it was old and dried out. The cheese should have been shaved.... More

We went to the back porch to share some wine with some friends. We paid $11 for a glass of tempranillo that tasted like a $3 zinfandel. Gave the waitress $20 and she disappeared. Completely disappeared. Didn't try the food and won't.

Been here under several different owners and executive chefs. Tonites food and service were great. Started with oysters and gruyere popovers, followed by duck liver pate bruschetta, shrimp in bacon, dates in bacon, lamb chops with yogurt - cilantro - cum curry sauce, finally with Chilean sea bass in port wine reduction. All of it amazingly good. Patrick - or... More

Made us wait for 10 mins whilst they prepared a table, once inside turns out we were the only ones in the room (at the back), starter was average (soup was cold), wine choice was poor and overpriced, main course, steak....again ok nothing special and again cold. Sperry's seems to gets some people excited - I don't know why, or... More

We had dinner here recently and other than the pop overs (which were excellent) the rest of the meal was totally unremarkable. One of our group had the duck breast which did not have much flavor, no crispy skin...a real disappointment. The salads were OK, but nothing great there either. All in all just mediocre and expensive. I would not... More

This was one of the best meals and definitely the best service we have ever experienced in a restaurant. We ordered from the regular menu and had some of the specials and each was beautifully prepared and delicious. There were seven of us and the service couldn't have been more spot on! Wonderful descriptions of the food, great wine service... More

Being gluten free can be very difficult while traveling, luckily in Saratoga Springs, many restaurants offer a gluten free menu. Sperry's is one of them and they do have a fair variety to choose from. we had the artichoke "fritters" as an appetizer. it was very tasty but not so much a fritter but more grilled artichokes with a lemon... My husband and I visited Sperrys for dinner. We shared the seafood tower and a ceaser salad. Both were very good. The creme brûlée was fantastic The restaurant was a bit loud for my taste in fine dining
