This is a beautifully furnished restaurant with a classic indoor bar scene. There is also a substantial outdoor patio and bar. We ordered mussels as starter, halibut and lobster as entrée. Absolutely fabulous presentation and matching savoury taste. Perfectly cooked and flavoured to compliment the wonderful fish. A good place to celebrate any event.

After being away for a year, my wife and I dined at Sperry's the other night and it lived up to all our expectations. The new Chef is keeping basically the same menu, though the food is presented a bit differently. I had the duck, which was marvelous; the sauce was a bit too sweet but as it was to... More

On my first visit to Saratoga Springs, Sperry's was recommended. We were seated outside, which was more of a picnic setting compared to the restaurant's interior. Disappointing. I ordered fish and cannot even recall what I ate...demonstrating to me there was no reason to remember it. There appeared to be only one waitperson for the entire outdoor seating. He tried... More

85 and humid so we ate in the back room overlooking the backyard. Signature popovers were wonderfully light. Sautéed local foie gras on toast and soft apple with fig sauce was an unusual and not too expensive treat. Two of our party had 6-chop racks of lamb which they raved about. Filet steak was basic but very good. The jambalaya... More

Recommended to us so decided to give it a try. Service was terrible, Waiter hardly waited on our table at all. Took forever for drink order and forever to get them. Seems like bartender short poured our drinks all night. We wanted our steaks prepared with no sauce on them, when received they both had sauce all over the top... More

Whether we just hit it on the right night, with the right waiter, the right wine, and the right menu selections, we can't say, but what we can say was that the Rack of Lamb and the Breast of Chicken were out of this world, the sauces for each, perfect, traditional but with a flare. I am always amused by... More

Sperry's was recommended to us last year before our first trip to Saratoga and we LOVED it! So of course we made a reservation before returning to Saratoga last weekend. This time around we were disappointed. The service was not great - waiter took the wine order at one end of the table (1 bottle would not have served 8)... More

We used to love Sperrys.. The food was great so was the service.. Our last couple experiences were not as good as before and each time it seems like they are going backwards. Especially with so many other great choices in the area, unfortunately this place will be mid to low in our list to go..

Six of us had made reservations way in advance for our visit to Saratoga based on the reputation here. It is fun, we do Derby every year and this was like Friday night in Louisville before the big race. We were at a table by the bar area that they added to which was nice not to be jammed in... More
