I went here several times during my visit and tried a slice of pizza, a ready-made burrito, and a made-to-order burrito, which were all excellent. The made-to-order burrito was exceptional. The atmosphere is similar to a college pizza shop. It's not somewhere you would want to take a date, but you'll be glad you went there.

Cannot come to Saratoga and not stop to get a Doughboy......a staple late night food and possibly even daytime......also offer pizza and other related foods but again, have to include a Doughboy in your order

Esperanto has great food for late night with a great location. Many carb options and a few salads. Also, you can sometimes get them at SPAC for a quick veggie burrito. They started deliverying a couple of years ago and it is a nice change of pace from the other options. I prefer the dough options, but my friend who... More

Just off the main street in Saratoga Springs...Esperanto's on Caroline Street has homemade food from Mexican to Mediterranean. Not very expensive and is a place that many late night revelers head for . Their signature item is a doughboy...looks like a hot dog shaped piece of dough stuffed with chicken, ricotta and mozzarella I believe...truly addictive. Home made salsa, hummus,... More

If you are looking for an unpretentious bar which is safe, fun, happening, and is neck-deep in history, look no further in Saratoga. We had amply liquorious Highballs in the very booth that Don McClean wrote American Pie. It's not fancy. It's full of locals, and it is relaxing, fun, and cool. You can walk out at 1am and be... We stopped in quick during an event and it was busy! The workers were fast though and were able to keep the line moving. We got 2 original Doughboys and they were amazing! We are them on the street as we walked which was perfect but they have tables inside. There is nothing like a Doughboy! Looked like they had... More

Home of the dough boy, the must-try little cheese filled bread thingy about the size of a hot dog that was really, really good. It's a Saratoga classic, especially with the students from Skidmore down the street and Siena (where I attended) down the road. And I always love to hit the local classics. The pizza is pretty good too.... More

My son and I were trying to decide what to eat when we were hanging around Saratoga recently, and we remembered...The Doughboy!! We've been eating doughboys since Esperanto first appeared about 10 years ago (little known fact--I worked there before it was Esperantos, while it was an all night hot dog stand and I was putting myself through college!) But... More

This place is on Caroline, it's a little hidden. Doesn't look like much, it's just a little pizza style joint. Decent prices - great for late night munchies. And.... Dough Boys=cheesy, chicken, creamy dough wrapped goodness. Enough said.

My fiance raves about the doughboys, but I think they are just alright. Some of the specialty items are unique. Very little sitting room. Employees were friendly.
