Decent Food But Not Fantastic

The chicken picatta was not tender, it lacked an egg dipped batter and the sauce was only good. The chicken needed to be tenderized. The side of penne with marinara was huge but the sauce is very plain with no flavor of garlic or olive oil. Frankly the chicken picatta at Caputos is much, much... read more

I've been going to Mama Mia's since they first opened several years ago. At first I was skeptical b/c I generally avoid restaurants in a strip-plaza but I'm glad I got to know this place! The owner, Giuseppie (Joe), is a wonderful host and makes all of his customers feel welcome! They make fantastic pizza in their large brick oven... More

I know the name says pizza and the restaurant is actually in a strip mall but my son and I both had spaghetti and meatballs. The meal started with a warm crusty bread followed by a generous portion of spaghetti, very, very good. The only improvement would be a starter salad. The menu is extensive, and obviously includes pizza. I... More

This is a favorite of ours. Prices are reasonable, the food is great! If the weather is very warm (which doesn't happen too often in Saratoga), opt for the back room in the bakery section. With the open pizza ovens, it can get quite hot in this restaurant. There may be a wait for a table, especially if it's racing... More

We relocated from Niskayuna to Ballston Spa and was referred to this site by friendly salesman at one of the locatl furniture stores. We had their generously portioned Italian dinners and their pizza made with a tasty thin crust. We now visit their about every 2-3 weeks and love it.It is conveniently located in a strip mall just outside Saratoga... More

We went here for a quick lunch on our first day in town. It was great food, great prices, and the service was also great!

It's been a while since I was last in this restaurant so I decided, after hearing great things, I'd give it a try again. Well, maybe we just got them on a bad night. I would say the highlight of dinner was the Sliced pears & prosciutto with crispy fried shallots. It certainly is big enough to share. The bread... More

We didn't have a reservation and they were full so can't speak to sit-down service but pizza to go was really good.

Lots of choices here for everyone. Nice wine bar, fresh made pizzas and good choice of pastas. Fresh home made desserts as well. Don't be fooled by the storefront look in the Price Chopper plaza. Eat in or takeout you will be pleased.
