In the Adirondacks it is difficult to find excellent food well prepared. Most places take themselves way too seriously and then overcharge for mediocre dining experiences. La Bella Ristorante delivers an excellent experience and wonderful food. Their pastas are properly prepared which of course ads to the Italian cachet. Chicken and veal parmesan portions were huge and delicious as were... More

My wife and I both enjoyed our meal. I loved the Spicey Fra Diavolo over linguine. My wife enjoyed the veal and was unable to eat it all. Service was fast and friendly.

My wife and I both ordered the dozen steamed clams for $13. They were meaty and cooked very well, although the broth was a little salty. Portions of pasta that others ordered were huge, so if you are looking for big food, this is the place. I'm not running back to this place, but the clams were done very well.

Stopped in for supper during a snowy evening. Small mom & pop place, was apparently understaffed (on a Saturday night) as service was very slow, tables not bussed, etc. Food was good and in large portions. Good value for the money. If you can, avoid a table in the bar side...dark and noisy.

Stopped in for dinner during winter carnival and were not impressed. Floors were horribly dirty, service was poor, and food was tasteless. Tasted like everything was frozen and pasta wasn't even cooked correctly. Would not return.

We went on a rainy Monday night and were warmly received. We asked and received a quiet table. The food was delicious. If they had dipping oil for the Italian bread and a larger white wine selection, it would have received 5 stars.

Stopped here after a long hike and asked if we were underdressed. Nice gentleman host greeted us and said "not at all". Service was okay. Ordered the seafood special which contained 1/2 lobster, clams, shrimp, and scallops. The lobster was shriveled up with a mealy consistency. Awful! The scallops were overcooked and dry about the size of an pencil eraser.... More
