Here is the scene: Louis Prima music playing in the background, excellent, friendly service, great food, wine and conversation. This is our local spot when in Saranac Lake for a 2-3 hour relaxing dinner of wine, calamari and a pizza to share for two for around $40-60. Jim, who we love as our waiter, always takes great care of us,... More

That this is a great place for lunch and dinner. Excellent Italian fare, moderately priced, and as Paulo would say, location, location, location ! You will not be disappointed with the food or the service. Eat, ENJOY the view and don't be in a rush.

And the waiter, Joe, was really friendly, welcoming and entertaining. The menu is pretty good, a lot of choice for every taste.

Excruciatingly slow, both in terms of service and food delivery. We visited for lunch on a slow day. There were only 3 other tables occupied. That said, it took an hour to get 2 pizzas and 2 burgers to us. The waitperson never came back to the table to check to see if we wanted more drinks while we were... More

For our last night in the Adirondacks we decided to try this restaurant since the reviews were generally positive. We walked in and were seated right away. The room was pleasantly decorated. We placed our order and it came in good time. Our meal was fine. Service was a bit slow at the end when a large group arrived.

Well I tried and i tried two times and it disappointed both times. first time, a chicken pasta dish was greasy in a way that old grease stays with you for a few days. I could taste this dish for at least two days and not in a good way. then i came back for lunch ordered grilled shrimp and... More

Have made several trips to this area in the last year and tried other Italian restaurants that did not meet our expectations. Tried Nonna Fina in August and had a good experience so we returned as a group of seven this past weekend. On both occasions the group enjoyed their meals and the service was excellent. The menu has a... More

From the UK on a vacation trip of the Adirondacks and had been recommended this restaurant and visited it at around 6pm on a Monday so not too busy. The wait to be served our food was slow but the linguini was ok as was the accompanying wine and beer. However, the main of veal, prosciutto ham and mozzarella was... More

We've eaten at Nonna Fina several times over the last few years. It's been our go-to place every time we are in Saranac Lake, which is not often given it is 5 hours from home. We've always had good service and the food has been excellent and plentiful. This time we were crashingly disappointed. First, it was 5 p.m. on... More

First I want to say the last time I ate here it was good. I also had the same order this time. The order was steamed clams, calimari and ceaser salad with shrimp for apitizers. Then ribeye for the main course. So I was dying to have calimari opened it upandot look like it was in the rain just straight... More
