Found this place many years ago but it's our go-to restaurant when we are in the Saranac Lake area. John and Colleen are great hosts and add to the experience. Great menu that has something for everyone. From burgers to stews, fish tacos to vegetarian options, you will find something that you will love. Can't wait to go back!

Not my first review of this place but I can't help it but write another one as an update after six years of "annual pilgrimage" to SL and Eat'n'Meet! Everything on the menu is made with care and the mastery skill of the chef owner John, trust me when I say his cuisine is definitely WORTH THE WAIT!! If you're... More

They have the best food in Saranac Lake and around. Don't expect fancy and the wait for your food is a bit long, but everything is localy sourced and fresh and made to order. Suggestion: Look up their menu online (it changes daily) and order a good half hour before you go. Awesome people and you can tell the love... More

We were underwhelmed with the food choices in Lake Placid, so after a quick internet search decided to drive the nine miles out to Saranac Lake to try the food at Eat n' Greet. We went for lunch...and then drove back for dinner. And would have stopped in again the next day, but being a Monday, they were closed for... More

My friends and I heard this place had great burgers. We went just before 1 on a Monday. The door was open since they were getting deliveries so we could read their hours. I went in and asked if they were open and got a very rude "No". I was not told when or if they were going to be... More

Chairs are up, lights are off, signs all say closed on outside of restaurant, large delivery being made, and you all come barging in and ask "are you open?". No is the reply. You are butt hurt because you and your two friends have to head back out into the rain. We do have great burgers, and great customers. This... More

Me and my friends on our way to Fish Creek Camping Ground from Providence, RI stopped for lunch here. We tried grilled salmon, fish tacos, chimichanga. The portion size was huge but every bite was so delicious Everything was made fresh and the lady was really friendly and gave up some pointers to good places to visit around. The sitting... More

We decided to try Eat 'n Meet after a local chef highly recommended it. We were not disappointed! The wait was an hour so prepare yourself and call ahead. The wait time is no problem if you understand they are making your food to order. I started with the house salad and the sour cream feta dressing. It was fresh... More

You must plan ahead and put your order in early because everything is made to order with the best ingredients. That said if you are planning to go up, call up on your drive. Some of the best food I have ever had. We have been going for 10 years.
