Trained chef- best takeout

Always something interesting. We use the takeout at least 2X a month during fall, winter and spring. ( we are away in the summer)

Found this restaurant via TA and the reviews didn't lie. I walked in with my little guy, ordered and they told us it would be 40 minutes. 40 minutes later the food was ready as promised. I would suggest calling ahead if time's an issue. I had the smoked salmon rueben and it was one of the best (and biggest!)... More

Best food in town by far and probably best in a three hour radius, if not more. Everything amazing--including the hot sauce they have. Food prepared with personalize care--every single dish! Because of that, prepare well--order a few hours in advance if possible. And if you are staying in a local motel, bring your own picnic plates, as this is... More

Such a nice surprise. Great food. The smoked corned beef on the Rueben was just FANTASTIC. The Falafel was really good. Fries, great, mashed potatoes....terrific. The restaurant tries to put out tasty, great food and they succeed. Loved the quirky atmosphere. Don't expect to rush, it's a small run shop with only a few staff. We sat UP on the... More

Beaufitul seating outside next to a fire pit, bellow trees and garden lights, very romantic place when emptier, and good lively spot on busy days. Allow to bring in your drinks since they dont serve alcohol. Menu changes everyday, home made seasonal food that was delicious and giant portion. I have meetloaf with mash, and their salad with tuna was... More

We recently used Eat 'n Meet as the caterer for my husband's 60th birthday while camping. My husband is a wonderful cook so I wanted something special. All of the dishes were wonderful and portions were very generous. We made good use of the leftovers. The entire family recommends this great eating establishment. John's effort and talent was truly appreciated.

This place is a rare find... you feel you are walking into someone's kitchen and they are there cooking for you! I like the eclectic feel of the restaurant and the history and small grocery items you can buy. Ask about the incredible crafted kitchen knives that are hand made by the chef's father. Menu's change daily and so you... More

We always have good food and sometimes amazing food. It is not a great eating situation but good never the less. I had an amazing hamburger!

went in at 6pm on Friday night--no reservation. No one at either of their two tables. Told there was nothing available until after 8pm. They must have had a lot of takeout? Not a very attractive venue and unfriendly woman behind counter.

From Wikipedia: A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, they would both drown. Considering this, the frog agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When the frog asks the scorpion why,... More

We Have enjoyed a number of meals there. We make it nto a "picnic event" in that we brkng our own wines, tablecloths, silcer, and wine glasses and thouroughly enjoy ourselves at one of the three tables. The food is not excellent, rather, supurb in quality, and the folks that own the place couod not be more accomodating. Hope to... More
