Who doesn't like empanadas?! Creative food and local food in the Adirondacks. Must visit! Get it to go and have a picnic on Lake Clear or Ampersand beach. Don't pass through Saranac Lake without a stop here.

You want a totally unique dining experience ?.....GO HERE !!...It's like walking into an episode of "northern exposure".Rustic does not do it justice. From the 3 tables that looked like they came out of my grandmothers kitchen to the obvious Elvis obsession.i.e. life sized manaquin watching you from second floor porch, this joint can put you in sensory overload in a hurry.So... Eating here is like being invited to eat at a friend's house. If you are impatient, starving, and expecting a quick meal, this is not the place for you. If you are interested in a handcrafted, made to order, inspired meal, made with local food by a world class chef, this is your spot. There are 3 tables inside, 4... More

This the best food I have eat Ever . I love the fact that I can get upscale French cuisine at an affordable price and get a large portion toO. The restaurant is rustic and when you go to eat their John's family the owner make you feel welcome, like your home. The best meal in town and in the Adirondacks.

Place is very dirty and grimy. There are only a couple tables and the kitchen looks like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. It takes an hour for your food before you are served and by the time you eat it, its cold. Woudnt go there again.

There are many many thing you can say about Eat'nMeet, and it all comes down to the food! There is always the first time when you go to a new restaurant, and you have certain expectations, mostly about the food, the general look of things, service, charm, decor, convenience of entry, well they are all there in different degrees of ones... On line menu, call ahead takes an hour, worth the wait! Take out or eat in if seat available. My favorites are the potato tacos the salmon Ruben, fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken picatta, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes!

The food was very delicious. Huge counter staff was very friendly and personable. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall, however I was blown away by how delicious my meal was.

This is the most amazing restaurant. Everything is locally sourced, cooked to order and absolutely amazing. The decor is funky and fun. Yes, the wait is long, but they always post their menu on line so you can call your order in 30 minutes prior to your arrival to minimize the wait. We prefer to eat in because we want... More
