After reading an article in Adirondack Life, I took my friend to the Meet and Greet. I had Poutine just like in the article (my first Poutine) and she had a reuben. We waited a long time, but there was a sign on the counter saying everything was home made on the spot so expect to wait. We waited a... More

This is the best place to eat up in North Country and I don't know what I'd put in second place. Nothing approximates this. The food is made to order, so there's a wait. Who cares. This is the most personal dining experience you can find for these prices. I had the braised short-ribs and they were truly remarkable. The... More

Every plate I have had there was amazing. The meat is always cooked to perfection. The restaurant is a little on the small side but don't let that fool you there food is perfect.

While nothing spectacular we still had the best lunch in Saranac Lake Village. The hamburger was large cooked a little well done and the ham and cheese sandwich was very good with a lot of ham. The French fries were better than average. The price was relatively reasonable.

The variety of items changes frequently but every item is delicious and contains a big helping of meat. The Reuben is excellent and the gyros are superb. For the non meat eaters the vegetarian items are flavorful and served in plentiful portions. Get the menu online, call ahead, and enjoy.

This place is an excellent choice for people looking to enjoy each others company and really good food. My wife and in laws had a great meal here in June. The food is all made to order fresh, they even slice their own bacon! I read that it took about an hour to get your food here so we went... More

Not what I expected. Better! Great food prepared and cooked to order dish by dish. Nothing fancy in décor...the food doesn't need it. Its comfort food plain and simple. Big portions. Expect to wait up to 75 minutes for your food unless you call ahead. Oh yeah....if you like Brussels sprouts don't miss out on ordering them. Ditto the very... More

My wife and I ate 3 of our 4 dinners in Saranac Lake at Eat 'n Meet - the only reason we missed #4 is because it was closed. Now that we're back home, all we can think about is how much we miss their amazingly delicious food. Everything we ordered was tremendous. I was especially blown away by all... More

Who doesn't like empanadas?! Creative food and local food in the Adirondacks. Must visit! Get it to go and have a picnic on Lake Clear or Ampersand beach. Don't pass through Saranac Lake without a stop here.

You want a totally unique dining experience ?.....GO HERE !!...It's like walking into an episode of "northern exposure".Rustic does not do it justice. From the 3 tables that looked like they came out of my grandmothers kitchen to the obvious Elvis obsession.i.e. life sized manaquin watching you from second floor porch, this joint can put you in sensory overload in a hurry.So...
