I ordered the scallops. I explicitly told them and repeated to the girl that I wanted them very seared but not over cooked.( I do not like the texture of a soft scallop.) She said that is the way they made them. I got it home and they were barely a very light brown on the edges. I ate about... More

Food was interesting, bordering on creative. However, my wife and I sat in the interior dining area where a slight but constant sewage oder was present throughout the meal. The couple at the next table commented on this problem as well. Made for a less than stellar dining experience.

While on business in Sag Harbor, Long Island, NY 3 of us stopped at Dock House for something to eat. So many people were ordering the Lobster Roll, so we did the same. This was the very best Lobster Roll I ever had. We were all in agreement-truly magnificent, with heaping portions of Lobster. Our round trip took over seven... More

A small and very simple inside and out restaurant. Menu looked great so we decided to have the lobster roll each. What a nice surprise it was chunks of lobster just lightly seasoned with a little mayo, celery and spices on the traditional roll. Very tasty and what a lobster roll should be.! The downside to this place is not... More

When I am on the East Coast, I always order soft shell crab when I see it on the menu. This is a very small and cramped place on the docks in Sag Harbor, NY on Long Island. Sag Harbor was filled with large very luxurious yachts in the marina. It faces the Long Island Sound, almost to the end... More

The food is good, but prepared and served hotel style, where although "trendy" ingredients, served in an ordinary fashion and of generic quality and presentation. At these prices, you'd expect more, and I mean a lot more. The line is ridiculous, which likely leads, by human nature, to the lousy service, "fast-food" and prices. There are many, many better options... More

the fish (combination grilled platter) was delicious!! Loved the waffle fries too! Constantly let down by Hamptons area seafood restaurants...this place was definitely worth the extra drive for us!

To be fair, we had a large group stop here for lunch, and most of us ordered the fish tacos. I love fish tacos, and was happy when the server recommended them, but these just didn't measure up. The cod was fried, and there was just a lot of coating on them - overwhelmingly so, making them too heavy to... More

If you like genuine experiences you Will enjoy the place. It's a typical american sea food dock house on long wharf of the charming Sag Harbour marina. the place is funny and the food as well, generous sandwich boxes With side salads or fries, Not cheap ( from 12 to 17 $) but good and tasty. My grilled marinated tuna,... More
