We opened The Beacon up, way back in 2000. It's been a great success since Day 1, only growing better with the start of each new summer. We've learned a lot along the way about what it takes to make a summertime-only Hamptons restaurant move and groove. As the light on the East End changes and a new season approaches, we are reinvigorated by the beauty our region provides us. The menu, the wine, and some of the faces may change every year, but one thing never does: our full attention to you.

Clearly the place to be for sunset in Sag Harbor

Seemed like a nightclub with all the people standing around waiting to get a table to enjoy the view and sunset at the Beacon. Despite that my wife and I were seated right away at an inside table. Servers were very attentive and made great suggestions for wine and food. We decided on a local wine... read more

We love this restaurant. Perfect setting - sunsets are beautiful. Food brilliant and service great. No reservations so sometimes a wait but always a great time. Lobster rigatoni, mussels my favourites.

Fantastic venue, friendly staff, food was great. A really nice relaxed atmosphere. Such a nice experience, but best of all was out server, Tina. She went out of her way to make us feel cared for and appreciated which isn't always the way these days! Thanks guys will be back!

Wish I could give it no stars! Most racist and rudest experience ever! The hostesses Kristy and Nina refused to seat us under the veil we were not "there" when a table became available while all along we were patiently waiting at the bar having drinks for two hours. We had been reassured they would come get us from the... More

Having reached the conclusion over the past few years that their bouillabaisse is the single best dish in a 30-minute radius of East Hampton, I limit myself to reviewing that. We arrive in time to get on line for the opening (which means lining up by ten to six this year, I think.) We willingly pay this year's price of... More

Good food, indoor/outdoor seating, Hamptons prices! Sag Harbor sister restaurant to Bell & Anchor plus Fresno (East Hampton) and red/bar (Southampton).

I had the best lobster and cocktails in this place. Beautiful views, romantic but also good to bring your friends. It has it all.

We had to wait to get a table but the food and feeling of the Beacon was great. People were lined up at the bar and clamoring for a table. Worth waiting for.

The setting is spectacular, especially just after sunset. We ate lightly so hard to say what the top drawer entrees were like. The salads were fine as were the mussels and the pork belly slider appetizers. The $42 cioppino sounded good though. Wine pricing was Hamptonesque. The owner (manager?) was visible and helpful. We enjoyed it. Dinner only. Also a... More

Not only is Sag Harbour my favorite town in the Hamtptons, they also have my favorite restaurant. The Beacon has a fantastic atmosphere, great bar area when waiting for you table on a busy night and the food is great. It's hard to pick a favorite, but many times they've had Seabass on special with a Chipotle sauce....incredible! Across the... More
