Fire the idiot hostess

I would give a 4.5 but the hostess is an idiot. When you walk in on a Saturday night in off season and there a 3 empty tables you seat people. They told us that the table for 6 was for a party of 6. The table was open the whole night. But I digress. We stood there amazed that... read more

I tried a lot of sushi in the area and concluded Sen is the number 1. Shari, that means rice, is not sweet and dry. Neta, that means fish or other materials on top, is fresh.

I've been going to Sen for years. The food is good. The prices are high and the service is not great. They frequently mess up your order and then they deny that it has happened. The waitstaff is young and it's always packed so they get stressed. It's the most popular Japanese restaurant in the Hamptons so it has a... More

We used to go to Sen quite often but after the hostesses have been rude and unpleasant to us so many times, we have decided not to go again. We have complained to the management but nothing has changed. Not once have we been greeted with a smile and a gracious offer of a table - every single time (even... More

The sushi was not special, just average, the rolls were bland; The yellow tail and scallion roll, did not have any scallion that I could see or taste.. The more expensive specialty rolls were just OK. We eat at a lot of sushi restaurants in different parts of the country and state and this one rates low in my opinion.The... More

Very high prices and very small tables for Sushi that is no better than average. The tables are tiny and crowded together. The service is slow and navigatingt through the crowd when you are ready to leave is a logtistical project.

Sen has undeniably the best and freshest Sushi in the Hamptons and total eastern seaboard! Their Toro is the finest I've ever tasted and well worth the price! With Tora as the perfect host and his younger brother as New York's best Sake sommelier Sen Sushi restaurant stands alone at the top of its category - the best Sushi EVER!!!!!

I think Sen is the BEST restaurant in Sag Harbor and has been for a lot of years. The prices are very high - higher than some of the New York and Paris sushi places - but that said it is almost always excellent - think I have had only one or two disappointments in about ten years and I... More

This place is incredibly popular. Locals as well as visitors love the sushi here. It's quite expensive compared to some other sushi places locally. They have a very loyal following. I personally like the stir fry here. Not my favorite place for sushi.
