My in-laws grew up in Sag Harbor and while vacationing our family went here tonight. It's usually a must for us every time we come back to visit. Our dinner tonight was just short of a disaster. It took forever (25 mins) to get a drink order we just ordered our entree with the drinks. Every step of the way... More

So Sag Harbor -- a stone's throw from THE East Hamptons and the folks managing Il Capuccino are very down to earth and the wait staff very much on top of things considering that this had been a Friday evening. Our reservation was for a table of five at 7:30 and we arrived 20 minutes early and like clock-work we... More

Enjoyed good food with good friends. Red and white table clothes created the realistic Italian restaurant atmosphere. Loved the garlic bread!!

If you're not in search of the newest, hottest spot in Sag Harbor - and enjoy tasty, well-prepared food - then this could be the place for you. Nothing here screams "delicious" but we definitely enjoyed our meal and would happily return. And if you're like me and don't normally eat bread, you definitely need to try the hot, garlicky... More

Everything was very good here on a food aspect. Garlic knots were great and three out of four entrees on the table were great. Wine list is casual so that's fine nothing really to talk about there. Service was slow and I saw how they handled several issues throughout the night and that wasn't good. If there is a mistake... More

Reservations only accepted for parties of 4 or more - so we waited at the bar for 25 minutes for a table for two. The Pinot Noir served at the bar was a little too warm in temperature for my liking. As stated by others the garlic knots are wonderful and full of garlic! We had apps of chick pea... More

We were looking for a place for dinner in Sag Harbor, and have been visiting the town for several years and have eaten at couple of the restaurants on the water, they have great views and the food is good but can be expensive. So we walked around the town and came upon an Il Capuccino Italian Restaurant and checked... More

Whenever we come out to Sag Harbor, we end up here. As other reviewers have said, the garlic knots are worth the trip. The service was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is very is really nice. I'll never complain about a pricey restaurant if the food warrants the price. The food is good, but a bit pricey. We will... More

Food was great, I hear the garlic knots were amazing, been here 2 times while gluten free so I have no idea, but the peeps I was with devoured their second basket. Host wasn't the best, overheard her snapping at another customer. Our server was very polite. Can't complain. Good food, nice atmosphere, great wine, see you next year!

Went here mostly because we wanted to please my teenage nephew. I wasn't expecting great food, so wasn't disappointed. I had a special tortellini stuffed with cheese in a sauce that included eggplant and broccoli. The pasta was badly overcooked to almost mush which I would have told the waitress but she never came by to find out. On the... More
