Fantastic service, they know their products. Fabulous beer selection and I can see people thinking, "Oh, it is all burgers..." but OMG one of the best ever. We split the "Eh" burger and a strawberry salad and it was more than enough for two, but thankfully we ate the apple tart dessert anyway! Beautiful to sit outside, I am sure... More

We were there on a very busy 4th of July Saturday and they managed to have great service and food. Great burgers and my salad was delicious. Don't miss the fried pickles!

I found this place while staying in Watertown on business. I was looking for anything but a chain to eat at, and something other than "generic American beer" to drink. What a gem. They have a great location and a very laid back vibe. Prices are higher than the surrounding area, but my meals were delicious and the service was... More

A nice location near the water with an excellent array of microbrew beers and some killer burgers. Try to catch one of their beer dinners.

Gaining great notoriety in the area the Hops Spot beginning with a vast international beer collection adds a menu selection of awesome food that goes well with and even incorporates beer into the meal. That was a couple years ago and since then I have not been back north but I can assure you Chef Andrew knows his stuff and... More

Wonderful. Above and beyond my expectations. Asked about a dessert they once had for a beer dinner that I wasn't able to attend. A chocolate cake with bleu cheese, I know it sounds gross, the tastes compliment each other so well. They had a chocolate souffle available and melted bleu cheese on it.They whipped up a wonderful version of it... More

Drawn in by the Prince Edward Island mussels and homemade french fries (Moules Frites) one night, it resulted in this restaurant becoming the center of my 3-day visit. Chef Andrew spent a lot of time explaining their locally raised food suppliers and the preparation of the varied menu items. During my stay I had the Dirty Bird Sandwich (awesome hot... More

Just spent a delightful three-day getaway in historic Sackets Harbor, NY. Among the highlights of our visit was our exploration of the culinary offerings of this quaint, waterside village. After dining in several restaurants that boasted intriguing menus, it was “The Hops Spot” that won my vote for the best lunch and dinner experience in Sackets Harbor. Even on a... More

Nice place right on main st. in Sackets Harbor, your near the water and the people watching is great. We sat outside and enjoyed two great salads, one was a Minty goat cheese salad and the other was The Adirondack, greens, apples, cranberries, chicken, almonds in a creamy fruity dressing. They were huge and delightful and they have 26 different... More
