Waited over an hour for the food the come before leaving. Same thing happened on previous visit. The food isn't worth the wait. There are a lot of other great Italian restaurants in the area where you don't have to wait ridiculous amounts of time.

We have been going to The Villa Tuscan Grille (Used to be called Roman Villa) for quite some time. We ate here 2-4x per week at times and have always found the place to have very good food, service (sometimes excellent, depending on how waits on you), and the atmosphere is ok (more of a winter place vs. summer due... The food was average. The kitchen was slooooow. Apparently they were having some kind of computer trouble (don't we all) between where they place the order and the kitchen. It took quite awhile, but luckily we weren't in a hurry. My husband had the Seafood Marinara which he proclaimed so-so. I got the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp. I like large... More

The Villa in Rotterdam is our favorite Italian restaurant in the Capital District. Not only is the food superb, the entire staff is welcoming and friendly. On our first visit, the owner welcomed us with a free cocktail. That has never happened anywhere else and was much appreciated. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel right at... More

Are you looking for a great-tasting meal, at a great price, in a comfortable atmosphere? If so, I'd suggest the Villa Tuscan Grille! My husband and I have been going at least a couple times a month for several years now and absolutely love it! Whether you're looking for pizza and beer or an entree and glass of wine, the... More

I can't understand some of the negative reviews. It's solid average. I mean that in a good way. The Villa is not on the level of Canali's or Johnny's, I don't think they try to be. A pint of Sam Adams is 3.50. On Wednesdays anything "parm" is half price, and its pretty good. Ample portions. The pizza is good.... More

Our family stopped here for pizza. We remember going to the "Villa" way back in the day. They make delicious pizza. This visit was no different. The pizzas were very good. My daughter ordered stuffed manicotti, which she declared to be very good. The wait staff were excellent and professional. The only annoying thing was the lighting in the bar... More

Yelp is reorting on another web site that this restaurant is closed.I would call first if I wanted to go there. Maybe it moved to Broadway? There is another restaurant called The Villa Italia on Broadway that is nearby.

This was our first time at Villa Tuscan Grille. I must say this place is Amazing! First, as our appetizer, my husband and I shared a plate of broccoli-rabe and sausage. Not a crumb was left on the plate...it reminded me of my own Godfather's rustic Italian cooking, no higher compliment can be given. My husband's chicken saltimbucca and my... More
