It's often rare that one can go to any restaurant, and enjoy it in all aspects. Thus was my experience here! All 4 of us enjoyed every dish we ordered, they accomodated special requests/ needs, and pricing was fair. Food and service well above average! Busy place, much larger than it looks like from the outside, and lots of hustle,... More

This delightful french restaurant is beautifully decorated and appointed, and has consistently served fine french food. At the invitation of Steve Sohmer, the new GM of the Bistro, we visted the restaurant and were absolutely delighted with the new energy and excitement at Bistro Citron...The personality of this fine restaurant has changed dramatically. Citron is Warm, gracious and welcoming; a... More

Had lunch here today and when we walked out we saw a lunch special menu, clearly applicable to the day of the week and time when we ate, which was never shown to us. The special provided for a 3 course meal that cost less than the one course what we had just eaten and paid for. The waiter told... More

a VERY nice French bistro in the heart of Long Island... Very varied menu something for everyone from strict vegetarian to dyed in the wool carnivore. There is a wide variety of apps and salads and you can easily make a dinner of multiple apps -with a side of fries of course!! Pricing is fair for the quality of food... More

I went to Bistro Citron for brunch on Valentines Day and had their gruyere and herb crepes. TO DIE FOR. It was everything I had hoped from a French bistro. The atmosphere is a little uppity, but romantic and there's cute little park you can wander through afterward. It's very romantic in the winter under blanket of snow :)

We've eaten here a few times, some better than others, but always good. The last visit for my Father in Law's birthday was really superb though. The service is very attentive, and they start you off with some fantastic crusty baguette. All of our meals were prepared to our liking, but mine, the Saumon Aux Herbes De Provence, made with... I had a special guest from another country and I wanted to treat her to a cozy and beautiful French bistro. We did not want to go to the city as she had a very busy schedule. I found this restaurant through Trip Advisor, and I am glad I did. The restaurant has a view of Roslyn pond. The food... More

Lovely room pond view, great service. Portions too small... Had dinner with my 16 year old twins and husband and even with appetizers left hungry...rack of lamb was only 4 chops, pork loin 4 small medallions of meat, sliced duck maybe 6 thin slices...quality very good, presentation beautiful on plate...started with ravioli and pâté, delicious. Portions should be larger for... More

This place is very nice. The food is good. The view (in the back) is beautiful. But the service can't be beat. I have been here a few times and the place is consistent to say the least. Everything on the menu is very good. Our waiter Antonio should be the ambassador to this restaurant. Probably one of the best.... More

Went with friends for lunch. Very reasonable $14 prix fixe 3 course luncheon. Soup or salad= roast tomato & baby greens w vinaigrette [both good]. Hanger steak w frites [to die for] & chicken w veggies & potato [one said their chicken was dry]. Wines expensive [at least $12 per glass], aperitifs reasonably priced. Dessert [profiteroles] were good, w ice... More
