Doesn't the title say it all? Hard to imagine this restaurant has been around for at least eight years (we asked, because we were so curious): it has the freshness, inventiveness, energy of a brand new restaurant, working hard to make everyone happy. Beautiful porch and garden setting; great varied elegant but not pretentious menu w all kinds of options... More

Very nice evening. The service was very good for us. The food was hearty vegetarian fare. We ordered Zen Plate and a spinach and goat cheese burrito. We both enjoyed our meals and wound up stopping in for dessert the next night, which was delicious apple cobbler for me and my boyfriend had chocolate peanut butter cake.

The food was decent, vegan but nothing spectacular. Reasonably priced. The service was very slow though, they needed more staff as the cafe was packed. Took us 30 minutes to get our check.

What a neat and delicious place! This vegan was relieved by the amazing options and tasty dishes on the menu. It gets packed later on in the night, so if you'd like a quiet meal, go early. Head later if you want to socialize and enjoy the live music. Personal favorites: Zen Platter; Tempeh Rueben; House Salad.

Once you give up on the idea of doing something else in the afternoon, it's a fine place for lunch. I'm not a vegetarian, so found it a little difficult to find something to eat, but I did. The chili was OK, and the salad was very good. I turned back the iced tea as it had some awful flavor... More

I wandered over from The 1850 House on my first night in Rosendale after a lengthy drive last May. I should have posted a review then, but quickly got caught up in all the things I had on my agenda for a too-short visit. I chose to sit in the quirky little garden out back. It got a little chilly... More

The setting is a former main street store frount, High ceilings, big glass windows with a view of Main street. The food is very good Vegetarian fare. Ravioli of the day, Vegi chili,... More

We arrived 9ish on the Thursday night and the local salsa fans were dancing like crazy to a DJ. They were ALL surprisingly good--we wondered where the beginners were hiding. I had lentil soup which was far too salty. My daughter had a veggie Reuben sandwich which she thought was tasty. The salsa music was too loud for us to... More

The quality of the vegetarian food was awful. The decor was shabby. Service was very slow. You would be lucky to get the wait staff to pay attention to you once you got your food.
