What a neat and delicious place! This vegan was relieved by the amazing options and tasty dishes on the menu. It gets packed later on in the night, so if you'd like a quiet meal, go early. Head later if you want to socialize and enjoy the live music. Personal favorites: Zen Platter; Tempeh Rueben; House Salad.

Once you give up on the idea of doing something else in the afternoon, it's a fine place for lunch. I'm not a vegetarian, so found it a little difficult to find something to eat, but I did. The chili was OK, and the salad was very good. I turned back the iced tea as it had some awful flavor... More

I wandered over from The 1850 House on my first night in Rosendale after a lengthy drive last May. I should have posted a review then, but quickly got caught up in all the things I had on my agenda for a too-short visit. I chose to sit in the quirky little garden out back. It got a little chilly... More

The Rosendale Cafe" has a definate Hippie Vibe. If you don't mind a long wait for delicious home made style food, this is the place to go. The setting is a former main street store frount, High ceilings, big glass windows with a view of Main street. The food is very good Vegetarian fare. Ravioli of the day, Vegi chili,... More

We arrived 9ish on the Thursday night and the local salsa fans were dancing like crazy to a DJ. They were ALL surprisingly good--we wondered where the beginners were hiding. I had lentil soup which was far too salty. My daughter had a veggie Reuben sandwich which she thought was tasty. The salsa music was too loud for us to... More

The quality of the vegetarian food was awful. The decor was shabby. Service was very slow. You would be lucky to get the wait staff to pay attention to you once you got your food.

Whether you're driving through Rosendale in need for a bite to eat or wanting to hear a dynamite music act on the weekend, the Rosendale Cafe's approach to serving up food and music is awesome! I especially like the roasted eggplant, red pepper and pesto sandwich.

We came for a late lunch and I found it very enjoyable. A nice pesto pea vegetable soup with fresh multigrain baguette, lemon water and a shared hummus pita wrap with a side of fresh creamy goat cheese. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and apparently a young mother as her husband brought her 15month toddler by for an impromtu... More

The Rosendale Cafe is a vegetarian restaurant. As I don't care much for vegetarian food, I find the food to be good, but not great. I have never had great vegetarian food. What I love about this place is the music. They have quite a range of performers throughout the year. You are up close and personal to the performers... More

I love this place. The tempeh reuben is awesome and the wine portions generous. There are always a variety of interesting specials and the waitstaff is attentive.
