I love Balsam Bagels, my boyfriend and I go pretty much every Sunday. Their bagels are fresh and they have so many varieties of bagels/cream cheese. Their desserts are great too, and they have lots of vegan options!

Balsam Bagels are some of the best bagels I've ever had. Chewy, tasty, they are better than any I've had in NY/NJ.

They are really good bagels with so many kinds to choose from, they also had a ton of flavored cream cheeses to choose from. I had a Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Again the bagel was great, but the egg was a hockey puck and the bacon was nothing special. If you go get the cream cheese!

Balsam Bagels is a kosher bakery in Rochester New York. However, Bagels are just a portion of their excellent home made offerings. Sandwiches, wraps, bagel dogs, pastries, even some Greek food too. The bagels are a little unusual in that they are colossal! While baked fresh daily on site, they can be slightly chewier & doughier than your typical bagel.... More

We've been to Balsam many, many times. It is by far and away the best bagel location in Rochester, NY. Everything from soups to bagel sandwiches are fantastic.

What's good about this place is that it is a locally owned bagel shop with crunchy bagels. It's resembles a New York City bagel, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They also have a great selection of bagels with unique combinations of flavors. It's definitely a place you'd like to try.

I stop in for lunch periodically and never leave disappointed. Rebecca's soups are simply the best, for variety, ingredients and routine selection. The mushroom barley is my favorite along with her classic chicken. The Russian vegetable had me back three times this week for a 16 oz serving with whole wheat bagel. Thank you for you fresh ingredients, spotless deli... More

I just "discovered" this place over the summer. I have driven past it for years and decided to give it a try after the market on a saturday morning. I have been back weekly since then. Best bagles. Great cream cheese. So much variety and selection. Not real friendly service, barely even a forced smile. If this changed, I would... More
