Abbott's is a local favorite with a lot of local nostalgia value. The custard is ok, better than Dairy Queen, but, if you know good custard, this is not it. more

There's other great ice cream, but nothing like Abbott's at Charlotte Beach. It's a sure sign summer is coming when Abbott's finally opens for the season. more
