We visited this restaurant shortly after it opened and were less than wowed. The food was good but not great and the service was chaotic. We knew we would give them another try once they got themselves grounded. Tonight was the night and everything was terrific! We had a 7 pm reservation and were seated promptly. It wasn't too crowded... More

This place is one of the best spots in Rochester! Went here for dinner and came back the following weekend for Sunday brunch! The ambiance was hip and trendy with a classic 1920's feel. The bartenders craft phenomenal cocktails with the freshest ingredients and the host staff couldn't be more friendly! Ladies: be sure to mind your dresses/skirts as you... More

This restaurant featured a classic throwback bar with great character, knowledgeable bartenders and impeccable service. Despite being crowded, staff were friendly and sat us in advance of our reservation. Our waiter was impeccably prepared with knowledge of the menu (and went out of his way to be responsive to our shellfish allergy). May recommend a pass on chicken wings unless... More

I have been wanting to try this place for some time and finally got the opportunity. I agree with most of the reviews regarding the food...it wasn't bad but I wasn't wowed either. I definitely think some of their opinions are a little pricey for what you get food wise however it's not going to stop me from coming back... More

Service was friendly, and efficient. Of course we had beet deviled eggs, I call them art on a plate. The chicken fried oysters were life changing. Lightly fried, they were still briny and juicy. perfect size for two bites, served with house made tarter sauce. I also had the mac n cheese. Tasty but a bit on the salty side.... More

I went here on on hot Tuesday. The upstairs dining room was light and airy, very comfortable temperature. The service was attentative without hovering. I enjoyed my swan cheese dog and warm peach cobbler. The chips were a little too salty. It is a little pricey.

I had dinner at The Revelry with a group of 15 coworkers in June of 2014. They knew we were coming and were prepared with a large enough table and service for us on a busy weeknight (Tuesday). They also seat large groups in the wine cellar so try that if you have a group and want privacy. In short,... More

Great atmosphere, informed wait staff, wonderful pacing to allow patrons to enjoy their food choices, and great food. In addition, their specialty drinks are incredible-upon reading the descriptions, some seem like odd combinations, but each one I tried was tasty.

We went here for our wedding anniversary. From the minute that we entered the building we were greeted by very friendly employee's. The building is really nice and very clean. We were early so went to the bar where we were greeted by John. He also welcomed us immediately. He asked what we would like and my husband told him... More

Took International clients there. Great food, service and ambiance. Another touch of class added to the east side of University Avenue.
