Went to The Frog Pond yesterday for a late breakfast. It has been many years since I had been there. I ordered a Frittata and Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was good. It came in a mason jar with celery and olives. It had a sweetness to it along with the spice from the fresh horseradish which was nice. The... More

We went here cause they advertised best of rochester. They were the worst non fast food burgers ever. Meat was bad. Roll was bad. Toppings ok, my wife had chiles and i had bacon and cheese. Burger was overcooked. Fries were soggy. Service was poor. Bloody marywas just wierd. A total waste of money

Had breakfast here this morning after reading some decent reviews about their breakfast. I found the service to be very pleasant, but the food just wasn't anything special. For some reason I thought by going to a smaller place than the spot next door (Jines), there would be a more well-thought out/special menu. We both had omelettes. All of the... More

After hearing such good things about the place, we decided to try it out. The place is run-down, the service was subpar and the food was mediocre at best. We have dubbed the place The Froggie Dump and will not be returning.

This is a very popular dining place in Rochester because it has food that tastes just like it was homemade. It's small but charming with some art from Ramon Santiago, a local artist with some fame. There are a ton of choices for omelets that are wonderful. But its special quality would be the dinner offerings that can each evening.... More

The Frog Pond has been around for a long time, and continues to evolve, maintaining its high standards for tasty, wholesome food, in a lovely jewel box of a restaurant. I think years ago, egg and breakfast dishes were the focus, and that is still true. However, the menu is surprisingly varied, and there are many casual meal choices: soups,... More

I've heard about the Frog Pond for years, but never stopped in for a meal. I visited there this weekend with my wife and daighter, and was pleasantly surprised. It is a small little cafe inside the city of Rochester, in the quaint little area of East Avenue that abounds with small restaurants and boutiques. They squeeze a lot of... More

My girlfriend and I had breakfast at The Frog Pond on a saturday morning, it was a little busy but the turn around time was quick. We were lucky to get a table right away, and one by the window at that (if you can wait for a window seat, it's worth it). Our server was a little brash, but... More
