A wonderful bowl of French Onion soup started my meal. The broth was flavorful and loaded with carmelized onions and the cheese was chewy and gooey. My boneless wings were perfectly sauced and my companion's burger was juicy and tender. And the fries are excellent! Service was personable and prompt on a busy evening.

For 10 years or more, anytime I needed a good meal and a beer with friends, Jeremiah's on Monroe was the 'go-to' neighborhood place; variety of food options (even great vegetarian items), extensive beer selection, interesting crowd, nice atmosphere. Not now, unless all you want is a beer at happy hour. They're attempting to ride on a reputation that they... More

This place has old time charm, but it can be crowed and noisy so you need to be mindful when you choose to eat there. That being said, this place has the best wings you will have anywhere around-they are that good!

Many different wing "flavors" to choose from. I always go with a traditional stand-by, but some funky newer flavors as well. Extensive menu of sandwiches pub-type food as well. Fun atmosphere. Live music regularly. Cozy. Big screen tv's. I'd have given a better review, but the first three beers I ordered were "out of stock"! A bit crazy, I thought... More

The wings at Jeremiah's were rated the best in Rochester several years in a row. While they were better than the wings at, say, BW3's, they were nothing spectacular. Be sure to ask for the wings to be "wet" if you like a lot of sauce. Perhaps that is where I went wrong.

Had dinner at the Gates location Thursday. The most notable point about this place is the extremely limited parking. Be prepared to move on and pass this place up if the parking lot is full. This is a sports bar with a pretty extensive menu. The wings are good but not better than other places. I had a Reuben that... More

I have been to Jeremiah's a few times. It's a pretty average place. This past time we were over charged and the waitress hardly checked on us. People were coming in and out. There were probably 10 tables and one waitress in the back room- until halfway through the meal another waiter began serving others. The alcohol is WAY over... More

I have friends that like this place. I arrived early, sat near the bar because although there may have been room to sit there, it was hard to tell because of the fairly empty glasses that were in front of empty bar stools. Lots of regulars I guess who got a lot of attention from the bartender. In fact I... More

Cool bar, good beer and prices but the wings are WAY over rated. Mine were soggy and not good. Definitely not the best in Rochester, not even close.

Went to the one in gates twice now and have not left satisfied either time. The first time I ordered the fish tacos and they were ok but had a weird sweetness flavor to them that was not pleasant. I figured that maybe wasn't something they did well so I gave it another shot. The next time I ordered the... More
