It is noisy, raucous, and downright loud, but the Dinosauer is just plain fun even if you are 70 like my husband and me. We love the music, the atmosphere, the spirit and most of all the food! The pork, chicken and beef are smoked to perfection and the sides are done very very well. Plus there is a great... More

I would rate higher but the last 2 times the ribs were way over cooked , over the last few years the food seems to be rushed

In this converted LVRR building is wonderful food, great staff, decadent desserts and a wonderful meal on a Saturday. We had BBQ chicken and drunken shrimp. Both were generous helpings and cooked to perfection.

Every time I come to Rochester this is one of the places that I have to go... possibly the only place that I have to go other than my in-laws house. Food is excellent, venue is awesome and those Rochester prices (LOW LOW LOW) can't be beat. We even had them for our rehearsal dinner. One warning, if you come... More

We had no idea what to expect from this venue, as it looks pretty interesting from the outside and we were looking for a family-style restaurant. But once, we went in, everyone was so accomodating and they even provided us with a sling for the baby's carseat!! Despite the tattoos and biker vibe, the staff was very courteous and helpful,... Have been here a few times, rustic surroundings but absolutely superb food. Particularly recommend the ribs, wings and brisket and Amber American beer.

A genuine not-for-tourist all american rustic barbecue restaurant, with a country flavor and charm and a very professional bar.

Visited Dinosaurs on a Sunday night and it was insanely busy. Waited an hour to get seated. Food was great, selection of beer was awesome even for a non beer drinker...server was helpful. In reality we had to experience it for the first time to see what the fuss was all about! Would definitely recommend it too anybody visiting Rochester.

If this place wasn't reviewed on "Diner, Drive-in's and Dives" it should have been. Fried green tomato appetizer was a pleasant surprise: sweet, tart, crunchy and really hot (thermally). I had the Tres Ninos, small portions of pulled pork, ribs and brisket with two sides. There was plenty of food and all the meats were really tender and the house... More

Every time we visit RIT we make a trip downtown for BBQ. Great place and great food, I highly recommend! If there was one close to us in NJ I would eat there weekly, it is that good.
