We live in Rochester, so it's not the same as visiting 'new' places, but this is a restaurant that we return again, and again to. The food is wonderful, Italian, yes, but more of a northern flair, and while there IS pasta, my favorites are actually the veal dishes or the seafood. We love it becuase it is equally appropriate... After searching high and low for just the right venue for a friend's 10th anniversary party, we discovered Baccos Ristorante on Park Ave. Giovanni was so so so accommodating and hospitable ! He created a special menu just for our event and we felt like we were invited to someones house to have superb wine and scrumptious food. He provided... More

The setting, food and service is outstanding. Bacco's is located in a house with a friendly, cozy atmosphere. Upon entering you are warmly greeted by the owner which adds to the special ambiance. The menu is creative and made with fresh ingredients. Each dish is attractively presented. Every course has a selection of items. it's difficult to make a choice.... More

My wife and I went there this week, the first time in some years. We used to go regularly, but had started getting bored with the menu and found a different Italian restaurant that we liked better, Lucanos. We decided to try Bacco's again, and we have now added it back to our list of places to go. The ownership... More

I have been to Bacco's a few times and it never disappoints. The restaurant is small and cozy. It's nicely decorated for the holidays. The food is great. Loved the fettucine rustica and the cheesecake. Will definitely return!

I went to Bacco's last night. Have been wanting to go there for the last year and finally did last night. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had dining out. Julie our waitress, unbelievale. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy. Our food, from the appetizer to dessert was an A+. I am excited to go... More

A business colleague and I ran across Bacco's in our travels last year, and now it is a "can't miss" stop every time I am in Rochester. Giovanni, the owner, is truly grateful for your presence and tells you as much the moment you walk through the door. The place is a converted house in a neighborhood (there's parking in... More

From the beginning of our arrival the owner and our server Julie made us feel welcomed. The homemade bread and salads that come with each meal were wonderful. Six of us went for our friend's birthday and everyone had something different. Gnocci, veal saltinbocca, veal bacco, lasagna, risotto and every thing was delicious. I loved the potatoe wedges that came... More

We had some wonderful meals in rochester but this was outstanding. From the initial phone call where I felt as if Giovanni, the chef, was an old friend, to the excellent food and service the experience was a delight.
