My son was having a wedding and baby reception. The time was 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. We had about 45 people come in from all over. We had a healthy choice buffet. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone told me how nice everything was done. We had my son come in from China, friends from California, Connecticut and... More

This is a very good, suburban restaurant. While the address is Rochester, it is in the Brighton area...on a busy commercial road. Mario's was an excellent choice for our last dinner in NY. The place is large, nicely decorated. Despite the size and high ceilings, it was possible to have a dinner conversation with our friends. I think the 4... More

Took a group of 40 to a special celebration Sunday Brunch at the restaurant. The offerings at their Sunday Brunch could not possibly leave anyone without a multitude of options. We had two servers dedicated to our 4 tables of 10 and they did a superb job of clearing plates, providing drinks, and replenishing them as well. The management had... More

This is my favorite place for a good gluten free meal. I don't feel deprived of gluten after leaving here. One of my favorites is the GF chicken french. The pasta they use is a great substitution. They also have a great brunch on Sundays. Just remember if you are going for mimosas to go after noon.

A group of 9 of us in town for business, they all were eager to try Mario's from the commercials. I used to live in Rochester so I was very familiar with Mario's, people love it or hate it. I have to give credit to the excellent service, very good wine list, and my bruschetta appetizer was delicious. My entree,... More

Came here for the first time with the family. Got seated even before our reservation time (15 minutes early) which was surprising as it was the busy dinner hour. Service and food was great....portions on sides little smaller than expected. Also the espresso was about a thimble full and thick as molasses. The only major complaint was the noise level... More

Again we had an excellent meal! Very large delicious portions. The server was also excellent (again)! My only caution is - we were seated in booth overlooking the bar area and the couple seated below us in the bar was quite loud (the man was quite intrusive with his voice!). We love Mario's and the salted spaghetti sticks on the... More

We came with some out of town friends. We were all pleasantly surprised at the extensive ness of the brunch. Create your own omelette, creeps, waffles, roast beef, lamb, ham, many salads and pastas as well as a large variety of desserts, though no sugar-free. That is a sad lack in a buffet. It meant the diabetic in our group... More

Recently ate again at Mario's and were very happy with the food and service. The price was a little high for the quality but overall it was a nice dining experience and our server was tremendous. The seating is a little crowded and the food was out a little slow but not out of line. All in all it was... More

We were there for a banquet and many times a restaurant will have great food for dinners but lack in banquets This lacked in the banquet area. The penne pasta was fairly tasteless, the pieces of chicken looked like they came from chicks not full grown hens. We had to request a refill on coffee.
