Great Indian food! And it's Gluten Free!!

My husband and I just had an amazing dinner at Amaya's. We been there several times and have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding, as is the service. And, the best part is that almost everything on the menu is gluten free. If you haven't tried it yet, you must!

Food was okay, wish there was more of it. Samosas were good although appeared to have been cooked long before serving. Chicken tika masala was good but portion was small, same for chick pea over rice--tasty but not enough for the price.

I went there for dinner with a friend. The food was excellent, We had dosa stuffed with chicken and chicken biryani. Both were of very high quality and service too was top notch. The owner of the place is a very warm and welcoming person and he took personal interest to find out if everything was alright. I know I... More

The food was great! We had appetizers before our meals and everything was fantastic! The only complaint is that the restrooms don't have infant changing tables.

It's not just the food but service in itself won our hearts. This was our first time at this place in the area, We ordered Flash-Fried Pakoras following it up with Malai kofta and Baingan Bharta in maincourse, it was top-notch, delicious , both being the best I have tasted in a decent while, quantity was generous and being a... I know my Indian cuisine having lived in London, England where there almost as many indian restaurants as there are in Bombay - well that might be an exaggeration - but - of all the indian restaurants I have tried in Rochester, Amaya takes the gold star for freshness of ingredients, blending of spices, variety of dishes and for over... Had a three course meal starting with spinach pakora and paneer pakora with a tasty dipping sauce. For dinner ordered the coconut shrimp, which was served in an actual coconut (very cool and unique), the coconut was fresh and delicious- light enough but a substantial meal. Also got the grilled fish which melted in my mouth- paired with rice and... More

Trying too hard to be modern and lost too much Indian (and a bit overpriced). Better alternatives in Rochester such as Raj Mahal and India House. We also are used to the very good restaurants in Toronto so the wateted down versions are a disappointment.
