Wonderful food, but pricey

I went here looking for a burger, but was surprised with the extensive menu. I ordered the Fire Marshall burger and it was delicious. It is important to note that the food comes at a cost. I was interested in ordering the mac n cheese, but I could not justify $17 for it. The fried pickles come in a... read more

The decor at Hose 22 was really cool. We should have made reservations because 5 of us sat at a booth with one of us on the end making it cramped. However the food was amazing. I had a the prime rib dinner and it was tender and cooked perfect. The veggies were also great. Will be going back again.

If you're looking for delicious food, good portion sizes and a fun atmosphere this is the place! The old firehouse decor and rustic feel is awesome, not to mention an outdoor firelit patio. With a super friendly staff and average prices we will definitely return.

We discovered this place last year and have been back 5 times. They have taken an old historic firehouse and turned it into a fun dining experience. Great ambiance and food and service. Will be back for sure.

We were there on a Friday night for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was very hot upstairs. It is a great location, casual but you can dress up the room more if you like for any event. The food was excellent and the service was great. They had a buffet upstairs with bar service.

Let's start by saying its an old firehouse turned into a restaurant. Very cute decor with an outside patio to eat w a bonfire going. You walk in to a small bar and then you are seated. Our waitress came over to take our order and it was SO LOUD I could not hear her. I am 35 and not... More

The staff was very polite and the food is consistent it is delicious. Hose has a great menu from seafood the burgers.... More

Our reservations for 6 were ready on time - a happy start to a great meal. Calamari was spicy, tender, with a little heat, One serving was enough for all to enjoy. Next their Engine House Ribs - a half rack of falling-off-the-bone deliciousness accompanied by warm apple slices and sweet potato fries. Our part enjoyed the Mac & Cheese,... More

The only downside to this restaurant is the lack of a full bar....they have beer and wine but no spirits. The atmosphere is cozy and interesting, with a lot of firefighter decor. Parking is plentiful and conveniently located right outside the door. I had the scallops, which were perfectly cooked. My husband had seafood Mac & cheese that was very... More

You will not be disappointed by the food no matter what you get. The waiter was fabulous and the decor very interesting. It is an old firehouse so a bit loud with the high celings and such, but not unbearable by any means. A must go if you are in town visiting or live in Rochester!
