I'll be back!

My husband and I decided to in to try it out for the first time. The atmosphere was very nice and with all the fire company memorabilia it gave me a nice feeling inside. Although it was casual, it felt like a little nicer place to have a meal. Our server was very pleasant and easy going and took... read more

Hose 22 is a great fun place to go for a meal. This place has history and had been beautifully restored. The food was exceptional and the wait service excellent. I went to the restaurant 2 days in a row because I wanted to try several of their meals. The desserts sounded great but I had no room for them... More

Stopped by to see the decor of an old converted firehouse made restaurant. Very impressed! Beautiful job converting to a restaurant and keeping the firehouse theme. Had two appetizers and they were great. Nachos and brushetta. Definitely want to try their dinner menu! You will need reservations on weekends for dinner.

This place was recommended by my niece who goes there occasionally with friends. The former firehouse was just that 100 years ago in the Charlotte section of town. Lighting was not too subdued and the high ceiling was perfect for all the memorabilia displayed. A full bar looked welcoming but we sat down in the restaurant part. My wife is... More

I was disappointed in this visit . . . fresh soup but a day old and only tepid. One person had the fried chicken . . . no flavor, over fried. The margarita pizza was good, sweet potato fries were good . . . had to keep asking server for items he forgot, but he was pleasant. Did you know... More

We went on the Saturday evening before St. Patrick's Day so it was very, very busy, We got there at 5:30 and got our reserved table . However, very soon after the restaurant filled up completely and people just kept coming. It seems the place is very popular. Service was great but a bit rushed probably because of the holiday.... I love the decor and atmosphere at Hose 22. Our group (other than my husband's steak) was not happy with our meal. Two of us got the Garden Risotto. We found it unedible. Sounded light and tasty on the menu but it did not deliver on that. The waitress and manager were very nice and took the two items off... More

We chose side salads and shared a 'white' pizza for lunch and was more than we could eat. Caesar salad just the right size, didn't overwhelm the pizza. Spinach and artichoke white pizza was delicious but a little greasy - that didn't stop me from finishing it. Firehouse decor was wonderful, love the atmosphere. Service not particularly fast but we... More

Went to Hose 22 for lunch and enjoyed the food and building very much. Former firehouse that is very authentic. Went on a very cold day in December so building was cold. Service was a little slow as had party upstairs. They have a very good menu and we all enjoyed the food. Very nice location and would be excellent... More

My Best Friend from Childhood was being inducted into the NYS Bar as an Attorney! It was a long road and so proud of her achievement at the age of 49! I called on Sunday, January 5th 2015 and made a reservation for 16 people...I was asked for my number in order to call me to confirm we were coming... More
