Favorite lunch place anywhere.

I come to Rochester at least twice a year and go there for lunch at least twice while I'm there. Never had a bad meal and have tried most of the things on the varied menu. All delicious. Always leave stuffed and with a smile on my face...and money still in my pocket. If I had to name a... read more

For a healthy eating and with flavor, this is the place! I had the Poultry Burger, make it a "box lunch" for $2 more. So I as a side I wanted to try something different and went with side of orzo and the oatmeal, cranberry cookie. Burger is big, tasteful with a good spicy, orzo was cooked perfect with kalamata... I discovered Orange Glory Cafe about three years ago, after attending a meeting at the nearby Little Theatre. Since then, its become one of my favorite places for lunch (it is open 11 AM to 3 PM). The food - from soups, salads and sandwiches - is fresh and delicious, and there is always a nice selection of vegetarian options.... More

Our family stopped into the Orange Glory Cafe for lunch while visiting the Strong Museum. It's only a short walk away and they have a nice selection of fresh homemade wraps and sandwiches. My wife ordered the Lentil Burger while I had the Blue Cheese Burger. My Blue Cheese Burger was not really a burger as much as it was... More

Our eggplant/chickpea burger and Thai chicken wrap were very good. The sides of potato salad and sesame noodles were less than exciting--reducing our rating to 4 stars. If you buy the lunch box, you will get the sandwich, a side, and a delicious homemade cookie. The people are very friendly.

Tucked into The Little Theatre Building, Orange Glory Cafe is petite, demure and some say quite Provence. For my husband and me on a muggy June afternoon following a noontime jazz concert in the garden of the city's main library, it was a breath of cool, air-conditioned air. After studying the chalkboard menu, we chose our sandwiches from a refrigerated... More

When you want something different, this is it. The lentil burgers are delicious. It may sound so simple, but they really are wonderful. So are the spinach burgers and the mushroom artichoke burgers. They have non vegetarian sandwiches as well, and the lemon cookies have a perfect zing of flavor.

This place is amazing. I can't believe I went so long without knowing about it. They are only open for lunch which is a bit disappointing and I think the restaurant could handle longer hours. Their sandwiches are amazing. They sound so ordinary and taste so amazing! The sides that accommodate the sandwiches are great and so are the cookies... More

I have often stopped at the Orange Glory for lunch with friends before attending a matinee at the theater next door. I am never disappointed with the selection or the flavors. Many vegetarian options. Sandwiches are huge, and with a side you also get a wonderful, large homemade cookie, all for under $10.00! The dining area is small, so go... More
