Great spot for casual seafood

You can dine indoors or out at this attractive roadside restaurant. Outdoors is more fun. We come for the delicious lobster rolls, although they have a good menu with other fare.

I took Kaitlyn to the Gingerbread University behind the Lobster Roll restaurant. Kaitlyn picked out the small gingerbread house. We found a table to work on and the girl gave us the house and all the candies and the icing to decorate the house. Kaitlyn had a ball and I had a great time watching her. We were there almost... We were visiting friends on the eastern end of LI and they suggested this restaurant for a great lobster roll. It didn't disappoint. It was full of meat and while it didn't look overly large when it arrived at the table, we all remarked how full we were after eating them. The other bonus for me was their fried blowfish... More

After reading reviews we drove some distance to have lunch here. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, we of course ordered lobster rolls and 1 order of Lobster and Mac, all excellent. We also ordered clam chowder, preferring the Manhattan version. While not a gourmet visit, it was very good food and great service, if in the area again,... More

Just isn't a trip out East without stopping for a Lobster Roll. The Pumpkin Crab soup was also delicious.

The Manhattan clam chowder tasted like canned vegetable soup with a few minced clams. The French fries were out of the bag and into the fryer and the fish that went with them was tasteless. The puffers were good, but if you can't make fried food taste good, you shouldn't be in the restaurant business. I guess we should have... More

This restaurant had a huge menu but only interested in the lobster. I had a lobster roll and my husband had warm buttered lobster in a dish. Very fresh and they gave you a lot of lobster. The service was a little slow but they were very busy.

Very accommodating, very nice location, terrific service! Lobster Roll is the best! French fries quite delish as well! I had their 1/4 lb hot dog....very good. Staff was great, sadly did not get any names (our main server sadly did not give her name, BUT was super attentive)..........Several seating options (outside/inside). Again, wonderful food and staff! Will be back, and... More

Very nice experience. Food is seafood (i..e lobster) driven but that's why we ate there! The service was friendly. Food was very good Our party tried the chowders (New England & Manhattan) - both were excellent. We also had lobster salad (go figure!) in various forms (hot roll, cold roll, plate with greens). All good!

This review is of the " Northside" version, the other is considerably further East and South, at Amagansett. My wife is undeniably a Lobster "Aficionado," which is not accomplished easily, as we live in Northern California, where the Pacific provides nothing she regards as a Lobster. They are, of course, flown in, but the real thing is best enjoyed in... More
