Went with friends...main house closed so we went to the bistro/barn.Food was great...from pot pie to soup to chicken cordon blue sandwhich.Had several beers on tap and special prices for taps and wines.Service was good.Everything came hot-waiter had to run back to main house cause that's where cooking is done to bring food out. Will be back.

If you are looking for the PERFECT fish and chips ... you will find it here. For $20. I have to admit, what you pay $20 for here at the Lobster Roll would cost you under $10 at a takeaway stand in the UK. However ... it is VERY hard (if not impossible) to find good traditional fish and chips... More

I usually go to the Lobster Roll on Montauk Highway, but since at this time of year its closed, we decided to take the ride out to Riverhead. Great idea! Lobster roll just like at the Amagansett location. Very fresh lobster, not loaded up with too much mayo and they have the best fries and coleslaw to go with it.... More

OK here we go: I was part of a wine tour group who had dinner at the Lobster Roll Restaurant. . First of all when we arrived, we were brought next door to their attached, pub. Here we were served our so called dinner. Plastic table cloths, plastic plates for our wilted salad. No dinner rolls, and when we asked... More

I went with a friend. We both had the lobster roll, it included French fries and cole slaw. I have made it a point to visit restaurants that serve lobster rolls each summer. This was my first experience at this restaurant. We were not disappointed. It was one of the best lobster rolls I've had. Fresh, lobster meat flowing out... More

Good food and service. Interesting setting and outdoor decor. A mock up town of antiques and other items awaits you just steps away.

Me and my boyfriend went there this past weekend after going to the wineries. It was yummy! The food was so fresh and the service was good. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a nice dinner. The portions were perfect, we weren't too stuffed or needed more food. After dinner, we went to their tasting room/bar area where... More

Excellent food, warm service. The hot lobster roll was very good. My friends and I stopped here after a beautiful day at the wineries. Perfect location for heading back to the city and not too horribly busy. Cute location too.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, my family and I decided to go to The Lobster Roll. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and more importantly the food. We had a flounder sandwich, clam sandwich, bowl of clam chowder and an spinach artichoke appetizer. The food was quite fresh and very tasty. You won't be disappointed.

Fresh. Had the legendary lobster roll. By far the best I ever had. Always a great place to stop when we are on the North Folk. Never had a bad meal.
