I've been here a number of times and each time I wonder why I've come back. I realize it's usually at someone else's suggestion. I love blowfish (aka"puffers") and at one time this was the only place to get them. I've since had them elsewhere and they've been much better. The staff is terrific and don't rush you but my... My wife and I heading back from the orient point ferry had the urge for a lobster roll. By chance we stumbled upon lobster roll which is a cute informal restaurant serving lobster fare. We started our meal with their lobster bisque which was bowl cleaning yum followed by their lobster which had abundant lobster claw and had definitely made... More

Every time I visit my home town, shelter island, I never pass up the opportunity to stop for a lobster roll to eat on the way out. Great portion size, awesome fries, huge dill pickle and a side of slaw! It's a little pricy but definitely worth the splurge!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

Wonderful restaurant with an attentive wait staff and good feel. We ate a late lunch at the restaurant and the staff was friendly and nice. The food was fresh and tasty. The lobster roll was excellent, with just the right blend of lobster, celery, etc... and large chunks of lobsters. Very relaxing.

Go for the namesake. The freshest lobster and a perfect blend of mayo and seasonings on a roll. The service was welcoming, timely, polite, and attentive. it adds to the North Fork experience.

Stopped here after a visit to the poultry farm and the farmer's market. We enjoyed a late lunch consisting of Lobster Bisque and a Lobster Salad Roll. Both were delicious. I had a Watermelon Mojito which was refreshing and tasty. I told the server I enjoyed it and he wrote down the recipe for me. We also had a bottle... More

NOT WORTH IT. Ordered the lobster roll. Got one small shot size cup of coleslaw, a slice of pickle, bad chips, and two ice cream scoops of lobster on be piece of bread. All for $22.50, yes 22.50 for this. Dont waste your time or money here.

We had lunch here on a rainy 4th of July with our 2 year old daughter. It was very kid friendly and while the prices were a little high, I think they were probably in line with the region. I had the hot lobster roll and it was very good. My wife had the fish and chips and raved about... More

After searching for a Seafood restaurant in the Riverhead area we decided to try this place for dinner. While the setting seems to appeal mostly to an older crowd the food was very good and we enjoyed our dinner. We started out sitting outside but when the wind picked up moved to an indoor table on their porch area. Why... More

Finished a round of golf and stopped on the way home for lunch. Never experienced a lobster roll like this one. It was loaded and tasty (perhaps a bit pricey) but you only live once. We sat outside under an umbrella for some shade. They had live music which was really a nice touch. Although I live about 40 miles... More
