While I came to Rhinebeck to indulge in the vast quantities of glorious yarn at the Sheep and Wool Festival, one of my favorite parts of my visit was visiting Bread Alone each morning for breakfast. It was wonderful to walk there from our rental house each day. Each morning I got the breakfast sandwich, but I was able to... More

We purchased bread, fig tarts, apple turnovers and brownies from this bakery and all were very good.

It's rare to find a small city in America with a pedestrian friendly central shopping district built within 18th and 19th century buildings. There are several very good restaurants and boutiques. This place had really good food and ever so friendly service.

I'm reviewing Bread Alone having only had 1 tuna sandwich. Having said that, I've definitely had a lot better tuna salad sandwiches. This one was okay. Not enough to have me hurrying back for another.

I was around for a wedding when I discovered bread alone. Was pretty hungry for breakfast and walked in and was welcomed by the sweet smells of their danishes. Bought some chocolate and cheese danishes and was quite content with their flakey goodness! Would definitely recommend for some breakfast goodies!

Had a great sandwich and grabbed some focaccia for the road. Cute place with a great sandwich menu. Will be going back in a week for more!

Great place for coffee, baked goods, breakfast or lunch. The servers are friendly and make you feel at home. The food is always fresh and tasty. We've also seen well known actresses and actors here during their "country" escapes.
