Tasty

Four of us stopped in on a Sunday morning. Sat near the counter and enjoyed wonderful pastries, scones, danish, etc. Hot chocolate was the perfect temperature for a chilly day, a tad sweet, in my opinion. Yummy soup and heavenly bread.

Food is ok, nothing special. Good homemade breads (use them fresh, they don't last long). Service is miserable...the wait staff is abrupt. Long a fan of Bread Alone Woodstock, I've been here a number of times and found that the service is totally different and doesn't make it a nice experience. Sad.

If you find yourselff in the Hyde Park/Rhinebeck NY area, you will not be disappointed with this local/families/visitors eatery. We had brunch there. All offerings were way past the usual diner/luncheonette food. Their breads alone are worth a detour to pick up and enjoy, as well as their pastries. I too had the poached eggs with baked asparagus and 2... More

Delicious, healthy, fresh-made bread. A great bakery, and I am always pleased when I go there. Good customer service, too.

one of the best bakeries I have ever encountered, of European quality. I live in Rhinebeck and live off their food. breakfasts and lunches (last sampled in February 2014) are generally quite good, though not as good as the baked goods from breads to pastries and some mean granola

We have been eating here for a long time and think they do a great job at anything they prepare. I strongly reccomend this place for a visit for any time of the day. Always fresh and always delicious, what more can you ask for?

Very busy breakfast spot in Rhinebeck . Had a 15 minute wait to be seated , so ordered a coffee from the from the counter and waited ... not a problem. Food was prepared well and enjoyed this sort of start to the day...great coffee too.

This busy place in the middle of Rhinebeck is a great local spot for a coffee and maybe a cake. The range of breads looks fantastic. Service is fast and friendly, and I can vouch for the expresso. Certainly a place to drop by if you are around and about.
