Good food in this small town diner type restaurant. We had breakfast on a busy weekend and the service was great! Waitress was friendly and food was fresh and tasty!

My family of 5 had lunch at Pete's. The food quality was OK. Service was slow, non attentive and poor. My wife ordered veal liver. When her dish arrived, she searched for the liver. It was absent. They served the wrong dish. Two of us ordered salmon. The portions were minuscule. (The kitchen must have been running low on salmon.)... More

Our first visit to Pete's upon recommendations of several friends. Service was excellent and waitress top notch; food, however, was only average at best; grilled chicken was thin and over cooked which made it dry; vegetables were not overcooked but were limp and soggy as if they had been sitting in a pot of water waiting to be served; our... With prices that take me back decades. This is our favorite breakfast place. Fresh food, large portions, tastes good and very friendly service. Most patrons are regulars and " everybody knows their names." Delicious French toast and bacon & eggs. Huge bacon turkey club. Dare you to finish it in one seating. The menu must be ten pages with everything... More

We were very pleased with this restaurant. Very clean and nice diner atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. Food was quite tasty. Everything was reasonably priced. Great overall experience! I would highly recommend if you need breakfast in that area.

This restaurant probably has a long history and a solid local following--it has that air of established confidence and a smooth routine. It is nicely spacious, and the menu is vast, with something for everyone. I'd been there once before, and I thought I remembered getting a pretty good burger. But there were some issues with the food this time.... More

We walked in and stood by the door while waiting to be acknowledged by someone who told us we could have a seat in an open booth. It took about 7 minutes for our waitress to drop off menus and ask us if we wanted a drink. We weren't in a rush though, so weren't bothered by it. After we... More

We generally have the turkey bacon club for lunch and end up taking home half for dinner. Too big to eat. Their breakfasts are great. Especially the French toast!

Listed as one of the last expensive places in Rhinebeck, we chose Pete's Famous restaurant the afternoon of Saturday, Feb 22. I enjoyed the chicken gyro & he had the burger. Eveready is much better, but this is a cute place in town with excellent service. Recommended for simple diner fare.
