Average. Wouldn't go back. There are a number of better restaurants and pizza shops in town. The flatbread was crispy and the idea of mussels was good in theory but unexciting in execution. The pasta was good but not great.

We were dropped off in Rhinebeck for dinner on our own. Our guide said Gigi's was Mediterranean food and was Bill Clinton's favorite. The weather was beautiful so we ate outside. The service was good and the food hit the spot. My wife had the Adana Kebors - Lamb kebob, Italian bullhorn peppers, onions, roasted tomatoes and tzatziki. I had... More

We went here for Labor Day weekend lunch and were extremely disappointed. To start we ordered bloody Mary's that we're on the brunch menu and they were $11 for a small, watered down, harsh imitation of one. The salumi was good and priced well for the amount we paid. The cheese was overpriced and just OK. We also ordered a... More

Althouhg the location is popular in RHinebeck, the food is some what wanting in imagination and quality. Service is nice, but dining experience is not relaxed.

I really want to rate Gigi's higher, so I wrote a lot to explain. I've eaten supper here 6 to 8 times each year for the past 3 or 4 years. There is a lot to like, and a few things that I think must be improved. Summary: great recipes and savory food, service is often disappointing, and the kitchen... More

I had lunch at Gigi's when I was in Rhinebeck a couple of years ago. Having good memories, I decided to return. It was a beautiful day, and we were seated on the patio. We'd arrived early for lunch, but the place started to fill up quickly--which certainly says something about its popularity with the locals. The Mediterranean menu (heavy... More

We have been on a LONG college trip where our meals have been mostly fast food and greasy spoons. This meal was truly an oasis on our trip! I had the Lamb and Peppers which were truly wonderful as well as the Tuscan Fries and the cheese plate. The service was great as well.

We chose Gigi's as we saw a lively outdoor cafe at lunch. Finding no table open outside we were led to the indoor faux-aged space with walls in 1980's orange and yellow. A drink and lunch order went promptly in with the shared salad arriving as would be expected. Then the wait began. Other diners who arrived with us ate,... More

The food was very good - they have special french fries, the steak, salad and primavera pizza were tasty.
