My daughter, granddaughter and I visited Rhinebeck for the NY State Sheep and Wool Festival. We learned that with the foliage and the festival Saturday October 18th was one of the busiest nights of the year. We had a 7:30 reservation and upon arrival we were immediately seated. The atmosphere in the Inn is warm and inviting and the history... More

The oldest inn in the US. Welcoming staff. Comfy but not luxurious room, all tidy and clean. Nice dinner in a pretty glassed in dining room.

Really enjoyed our lunch at the Beekman Arms. Very tasty American comfort food, you can't go wrong ordering the mac and cheese, turkey pot pie or club sandwich. Service was unobtrusive, professional and efficient. Well worth a stop if you're in the lovely and picturesque town of Rhinebeck.

I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetable quiche with a seafood Hollandaise sauce and champagne. It made for a great brunch at a unique and historical setting.

Food absolutely delicious! Ate in the front garden room. What a treat to be entertained by the happenings on the street. Waitress seemed a bit inexperienced but overall the service was very good. We stopped there to have dinner before going to a theatre show. We never felt rushed or anxious about our time. The menu also had several offers... More

I was lucky enough to get in to their famous Thanksgiving buffet for lunch. The choices were varied and classic, the taste...fabulous. Get here if you can.

We had a wonderful meal at the Tavern at Beekman Arms. The butternut squash soup was the best I have ever had, the pear salad was tasty, and our entrees of filet mignon and stuffed shrimp were tasty and cooked to perfection. Colin was our waiter and was attentive to detail, friendly, and knowledgable of the full menu and the... More

I wrote a review for "The Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn", which is the same place. "The Tavern at the Beekman Arms" is the restaurant part of the inn. I copied the restaurant portion of my inn review, since the restaurant is listed separately from the rest of the inn: The restaurant has some cool dining areas, very diverse in... More

Beekman Arms is a "must" stop for a meal. The history alone is reason enough to be curious. The food portions are large, fresh and delicious. Great choices. The service is attentive and courteous. Regardless of weather we eat in the glass covered front of the building that is spacious and airy. The interior seating is a bit dark and... More

America's Oldest Inn...where the likes of Washington, etc. met to direct the strategy for America's Freedom from British tyranny. Did not fail on the food and service...being "old" does not have to mean "tired food"!
