Love the History

Great place to take in the history of the place. Awesome bar that dates back to Washingtons time. Cool fireplace. Nice hotel

Not sure if it's called the Garden Room, but I am referring to the glassed-in dining room at the front of the Inn. Sorry to say the service was slow, the food was mediocre at best, and the whole place looked dirty. Bummer! Good view of town, however.

We stopped at the Beekman Arms the other day, sat at the bar and had a nice meal. the menu is sort of simple, but elegant. She the Butternut Squash Soup, and I had the Pot Pie with Cheddar Biscuit. Great meals. Real hot, very tasty. Well worth the time and price. We shared a charcuterie plate which was surprisingly... More

It is interesting that I wrote a review earlier this evening about how delightful the little Calico Restaurant was in the center of Rhinebeck and then Trip Advisor asked if I had experience with the Tavern at the Beekman Arms? As it turned out, we met friends at the Tavern at the Beekman Arms for drinks before going to Calico... More

The atmosphere in this very old tavern is warm, comfortable, and relaxing. My husband and I have eaten here or just come in for a nightcap whenever we come to Rhinebeck. The food is delicious, the service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere takes you back in time. It's just great.

For the past several years, my family and I have had Christmas Eve dinner at the Tavern . In the past it has been an enjoyable event, however, 2015 will be our last. We were met and greeted by a twenty year old young lady who told us that our "assigned" table would be in the almost empty buffet room.... More

We have dined here for Christmas Eve dinner for the last 10 years. The food is predictable and it's become a tradition. This year, the service was without a doubt, terrible! Our server, Jimmy, did not even check in once to see how our meals were (we would have loved some bread before dinner like other diners and would have... More

Lots of history goes along with the tavern & inn. We have been here many times. The food & service are vg; however, the tavern is dark. We prefer the garden room in the front. It is always busy & if u r driving from afar, a reservation is usually required. Otherwise, enjoy the wait & look around.

My family and I met my sister and her daughter in Rhinebeck for lunch. We love in the Berkshires and she lives in North Jersey. We've met here before. Rhinebeck is such a beautiful town. And my wife and I have visited the Beekman Arms every so often for years... This 200 plus year old inn is filled with character,... More
