Six of us stopped for lunch at the tavern and enjoyed our meals. The place was clean and service was attentive and prompt. We would definitely recommend this tavern. A beautifully decorated tavern worth visiting...

We had visited rhinebeck in the summer season and stopped here for lunch. Loved it. So while my brother was here over the holiday season this Christmas, we decided to take a ride to rhinebeck for lunch. We all ordered the trout which was a mistake. The trout literally had not one spec of seasoning what so ever. So what... More

We were looking forward to eating in this historic inn, and were expecting wonderful food. However, we were disappointed with the food - I had Crabcake Provincale and my husband had Panfried Trout Fillet. I had one small overcooked crabcake on a bed of rice and my husbands was a thin fillet overcooked on a bed of lentils. The best... More

We made reservations and got the seat across from the chimney, which my wife loved. Our waiter was good even if somewhat inefficient at times. My wife had a wonderful butternut squash soup and I had the southwest chicken soup. The waiter assured me that the chicken was grilled and not boiled. Once I tried it, I knew immediately that... The Beekman Arms is the oldest continuously functioning Inn in the US. The restaurant is divided into many rooms, some dating back to the revolutionary war. The newest extension is the "Atrium" which is a glass enclosed section added to the front of the building and facing the main road through Rhinebeck. This is our favorite room. The food here... If you have a chance, enjoy this historic facility with colonial atmosphere, (complete with fireplace burning ) and excellent cuisine for either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

On a day trip to Rhinebeck, NY, we learned there are many choices for lunch in town. We were very happy we chose The Tavern at Beekman Arms. Our simple lunch consisted of a Ceasar Salad with a burger and fries. The salad was fresh and the shaved slices of cheese made it delicious. The burger was prepared perfectly -... More

Attached to the oldest continuously operated hotel in the United Stats, the Tavern is a charming dining spot. We sat in a wooden booth in the wine cellar (didn't actually see any wine) but there are a number of interesting table locations. The pumpkin spiced grilled pork chop was perfectly cooked and nestled atop a creamy polenta and roasted butternut... More

The oldest Inn in the country....located in Rhinebeck NY. Enjoyed the atmosphere, not so much the food. But we did enjoy our time there.
