Always enjoy an outing to the Beekman Arms. The step back in time is brought forward by a friendly staff and congenital clientele, with a healthy serving of good food.

Consistently delicious lunches with excellent service. Squash soup is amazing. I dare you to finish the turkey bacon club. The burgers are juicy and delicious. Good house wine. Very reasonable prices. Can dine in glass sunroom or more pub like dining room. Reception area has fireplace, newspapers and very comfortable chairs. Have fallen asleep in the chair more than once... My husband, friends, and I had the Early Bird Special. Two of us had the Prime Rib and two of us had the Surf and Turf. We all enjoyed the beef dishes very much. The only complaint was that the stuffed shrimp was very mushy. We sat in what looked like a greenhouse. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff... More

Service was slow on weekday for lunch ! Food was tasty but could they spare it ???? My husband and I had the Curry chicken salad on Marble Rye.There was more bread to this than chicken salad. What would it cost the tavern for another icecream scoop of chicken salad 50 cents ?????. I'm not going back.....

Have been here for lunch several times. Never seems to be busy during the week. The selection is good and the food has always been hot and well-prepared. Always have eaten in the tavern room that has a lovely, colonial atmosphere. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Nice, quiet place to have a relaxed lunch in an attractive setting.

I met relatives for dinner and we fully enjoyed our mushroom ravioli dinner. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.

Loved the food and history at this hotel that was opened in 1776. Lots of artifacts hanging on the walls to look at and the service and food were excellent. If your in Rhinebeck, NY, I would check the Tavern at the Beekman out.

I am very overdue in writing this review.. My husband and I went out for Valentines Day and we decided to try this restaurant and I didn't have one issue. This place is fabulous and the food was incredible and the restaurant is so beautiful. Actually parking can be a bear but that is so unimportant once you get in... More

We stopped here for lunch today and with so many restaurants to choose from in Rhinebeck, all of who seemed to be staffed by CIA graduates, we were a little put off by the name I mean who expects very much from Tavern food. Still the outside sun room looked so inviting so in we went. My wife wen t... More
