Very enjoyable dinner

We had a very good dinner being the week end they have a special sirloin. An exceptionally efficient waiter Colin helped to make our evening a success.

The brunch omelets and bacon weren't memorable. Pretty run of the mill, and a little overcooked. But that's the worst I can say about this lovely inn. To finish the food part of this review: the butternut squash soup is SOOO delicious. And although my veggie quiche was a little runny, it tasted fresh and the crust was perfectly flaky.... More

You can't beat the history of this place. The burger is also delicious. The bar is cozy and very good on a cold winter evening when fire places are burning and drink flowing.

A lovely Inn, restaurant and conference center. While driving through Rhinebeck, we stumbled on this lovely colonial property, the Beekman Inn Restaurant and found that it was also a hotel and conference center. We had a very nice dinner on the porch. The property is set back from the street, with a nice garden and trees, so vehicles cruising in... More

It appears that a great effort was made to minimize progress in the decor. In other words it seems a step back in time. There are choices of outside seating landscaped and recessed from a very quaint street scene. Inside in a bright windowed banquet area. A low lit bar area with seating. And, several family or intimate dining situations.... More

We were visiting our daughter at her momma and baby store Waddle n Swaddle so we all went to lunch and, as usual, delicious. The squash soup is fabulous. Dip a piece of the bread in the soup and enjoy. We shared the blt club. Asked for it on whole wheat toast. Kids ordered from the kids menu. Chicken fingers... More

The Tavern at the Beekman Arms is billed as America's oldest operating inn. The original structure is the two story brick wing on the left side of the building. The tavern is a cosy room which exudes character - narrow, short doorways, private booths in small rooms and dark wood panelling everywhere. The food is good but I wouldn't call... More

Met friends here for dinner. My husband ordered seafood pasta dish which he enjoyed. I ordered pork medallions with chutney. Pork was dry and overdone. Auger agin potatoes average, nothing special. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. Ambiance in the glass enclosed dinning room nice.

We were in town for just one night and wanted to make sure that we picked the right place to eat. The Tavern was perfect. Since my daughter has many food allergies I had to make some calls beforehand. They were educated with regard to her gluten allergy and made sure we were confident in their abilities. I had stuffed... More

We enjoyed a wonderfully mild summer afternoon on the patio enjoying drinks and a cheese plate appetizer. Delightful ambiance thoroughly enjoyed :)
