Generally OK

While I've eaten here a couple of times, my last visit was a little off. Although our server was friendly - he was slightly distracted or inattentive, so this made the entire dining experience a bit less stellar than our previous experience. Normally the menu is interesting (and it was this time... read more

I think all the reviews are accurate to an extent. There are two dining rooms- one is pub atmosphere near the bar, the other is more refined. It's obvious the ingredients are fresh, and the accompaniments are well thought out. It's a bit over my budget, I'd probably reserve for a special occasion. It's a converted church- the decor and... Not sure where these horrible reviews come from. Too bad they didn't have a good experience. I've only had great food and service there. The bar area is casual and fun, food and drinks are awesome! Went into the dining area for my birthday dinner during a snow storm. Food was delicious. We were the only patrons so can't say... More

Went there for a late lunch with my wife the food was mediocre at best and our waitress was the worst. Her name was Lily I believe. We got more attention from the waiter from another section than her. To the point I felt we should tip him. She couldn't even get our drink orders straight. We asked for appetizers... More

Went for a late lunch /early dinner with my husband. Ordered appetizers and then tappas for our meal. After a long wait our waitress brought everything out at once. Food was greasy. Had wilted cabbage as a decoration. Waited forever for our sodas to be refilled( had to ask twice). Soda costs $6. Would not recommend at all. STAY AWAY!!!

Diversified menu - dinner was duck comfit appetizer and wild boar cutlets - very enjoyable! Waitstaff was immediately accomodating when we had a seating issue. Would definitely go back.

We went here to eat dinner one night and it was ok. The appetizers and soup were awesome so we had high hopes for the $37 t bone we ordered. What a disappointment. We ordered it medium rare and it came out well done. The first steak was a great cut. We sent it back because for almost $40 we... More

Great service, great bread, great ahi tuna! The restaurant is in a beautiful converted church which greatly added to the charm.

My husband and I had lunch here the day there was an antique car show in town. Sitting outside we got to see many a car drive by - so much better that walking around to see them. I enjoyed flight of NY State wines with my lunch - all very good - they also offered flights of local beer.... More

A group of us visited Terrapin on Tuesday expecting the wonderful $9 lunch menu that appeared on the web site only to find out it was an expired offer. The manager came over and addressed our disappointment with offering us the same combination lunch for the same price. Hurrah! The food was yummy. All but one ordered the asparagus and... More
