We visited for lunch. We sat outside on the patio. What a great little place! The food and prices were great (I ordered a turkey reuben) . It is located in the middle of Rhinebeck, which is a fabulous little town. The only complain I have is the parking lot was small, and there weren't any spaces available. We had... More

Great burgers and fried fare. A friendly atmosphere to hang out and eat. Somewhat pricey, but good food.

We usually tend to arrive when there's live entertainment. Waiting is to be expected at the small bar, but a friendly crowd is open to conversation as the band plays. Dinner is eclectic, traditional and a good steak hasn't failed in 25+ years we've been stopping by.

This was our first time at the Coach House. We were walking by and the people outside looked like they were enjoying themselves; it was a great simmer night and we were seated outside. Right from the start the service was essentially non-existent. We ordered water with our drinks. Took quite a while for drinks to come - no water.... More

Great food. Just the perfect place for taking out the kids. Great menu choices. The outside and inside are perfect.

The visit to Foster's was fine. Service was good and so was the food. It was pretty basic, but good. It was well prepared and served hot. The range of menu choices is quite extensive and there are daily specials. We visited for a quick and not too heavy lunch. We were satisfied.

Wife and I antiqued in area in the fall and family returned this Spring. Both times food was consistently good with great service. This last visit, the waiter suggested a London broil sandwich which was excellent. Daughter really enjoyed the fried clams. Casual dining with great comfort food and especially good cold beer. Enjoy

We visited Foster's Coach House after a long day of hiking in the Rhinebeck area. Being a bit muddy and sweaty, we wanted to eat at a place that had a casual environment. After checking out a few of the moral formal dining options in downtown Rhinebeck, we decided to try Foster's for dinner. The interior is classic pub with... More

When I get about 1 hour from Rhinebeck all I can see in front of my car is Fosters bar. This place is more than about food & drinks, although we enjoy both, its about the atmosphere, staff & patrons. After a 6 to7 hr drive from Canada its great to walk in and be greated by the staff like we were there yesterday,this... Fosters has been around forever and is showing it's age. Good for a cold beer, but for food... no thanks.
