We were going around kingston and made a quick look for indian restaurants nearby. Found this one on route 9 and decided to stop by for lunch. And it was a buffet. So made it that much easier to decide. The food is really fresh and well made. We liked the varied flavors. It isn't a throw on your face... More

Cinnamon's sign advertising a Sunday lunch buffet caught our attention as we drove south on Rt. 9, heading to the FDR home and presidential library in Hyde Park. The buffet--at $15.50 per person--was varied, quick and delicious. About ten main course items were on the buffet; fresh-grilled chicken tikka and naan bread were brought to the table. Quality ingredients enhanced... More

We live in Rhinebeck and are avid fans of Indian food. Imagine our delight when Cinnamon opened within a few miles of our home! The quality of the ingredients, recipes and selection is outstanding. Holidays (New Years eve, Valentines Day) bring special menus and decorations. The service is always caring. If you go try the saag paneer and the deconstructed... More

The service is enthusiastic without being intrusive, and the food is simply superb in a comfortable environment. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody who visits Rhinebeck and also people who live in Rhinebeck.

Went with a friend on a weeknight. We are both avid fans of Indian cuisine and had been meaning to check out Cinnamon for quite some time, based on the accolades the restaurant has recieved. We were certainly not disappointed; the deconstructed Samosas were lovely, as were both our entrees. The chef graciously sent us a lime sorbet garnished with... More

The selection of items was about average for an indian buffet and the price was reasonable. However instead of having the Janjore chicken as a regular item the waiter asked if we wanted it and then we received only what he gave us. Also, right outside the window where I was eating someone was mowing the grass with a loud... More

Decided to go here to meet friends in the area from out-of-state. From the time we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by many servers. Each asked us what we wanted, always with a smile. We had their special all-you-can-eat buffet. There was a variety of non-meat items, perfect for us as we don't eat meat. Freshly-mde Naan (Indian bread)... More

Ate here while staying at the Omega Center, about 15 mins away. Best Indian food I have had in a while. I only ordered vegetarian dishes, and all of the ingredients were very fresh, all the dishes were very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. When we came the restaurant was quite busy, while all servers were very friendly, it did... More

You will get the freshest, cleanest, spiciest Indian food available in Dutchess County here. The kitchen is immaculate (I know from outside sources). And the owners are smart and super-friendly. They seem dedicated to making Cinnamon a community asset - a cultural hub - with special events and now on Friday nights great live jazz. I have always left here... More

We recently tried Cinnamon Indian Cuisine for dinner. While certainly not bad, the entrees that we shared were nothing to write home about. The menu is pretty standard fare that you'd find at most Indian restaurants. Menu items were a couple dollars more than they should be. There was a very pleasant duet of musicians playing background music the night... More
