We stopped in for dinner after seeing that they had steak frite on the dinner special menu board outside for $19. WE were also hot and the sign on the door said "Cool inside". The restaurant is nicely decorated and the seating was comfortable. But it was not cool because they have outside seating and the door to the outside... More

Having had many wonderful trips to this restaurant over the years, I recommended that our group of 6 go there for a "reunion" dinner. As there are many choices in Rhinebeck, I thought that this would give us the best atmosphere and meal combination, to have a relaxing get together among old friends. Consistent with other recent reviews, the service... More

We were impressed with the reviews and did a walk of the restaurant options in Rhinebeck early in the day and selected Arielle. Nice atmosphere, well appointed. The food was excellent, I enjoyed one of the chef's specials and my partner a terrific steak. The waitstaff needed some coaching. Rushed through the menu options, asked to repeat. When wine selected... More

Arielle has much to be said for it. The menu offers simple but fairly good French bistro fare in a charmingly decorated cozy gallic setting...but this was my third visit and I cannot recommend this restaurant unless and until the kitchen and service improve. Sadly, it's customer be damned here. Our entrees were sent out of the kitchen piecemeal and... More

Myself & a friend were in Rhinebeck for a girly day & decided to try the $12 lunch menu. The food was vey good. the portion sizes reflected the $12 special price, but this was fine for me as sometimes the portion sizes are far too big in some restaurants. The service was excellant. the staff were very friendly &... More

We tend to frequent our favorites (Matchbox, Pizzeria Posto, & Terrapin) when in Rhinebeck but this day we decided to try something new. We stopped in Arielle for Sunday brunch around 1:30 and were very happy with the menu choices. We chose the crepe and the roast chicken. Both entrees were excellent in flavor and presentation. The chicken was very... More

To start. A Manhattan and a Gin Martini. Both drinks very watery, and way too much Vermouth. And I believe I was served Vodka not Gin. Okay, some restaurants don't put salt on the table, because their ever-so-talented chefs have such expert palates, that no one should need to add seasoning. Wrong. The food was lacking salt.. Sauce was forgotten... More

Have had lunch here about a dozen times and I always amazed at the quality and quantum you get for $12. Salad/soup, entree and desert. We have had the salmon, steak and other offerings and always been very pleased. The atmosphere is very French and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Delicious cheese cake or chocolate dessert. Nice house wine... More

I love this restaurant! The menu is inventive, the choice of wines is excellent, the decor is soothing yet eclectic (very French), and somehow we always seem to have a fantastic time here. Highly recommended.
