Don't even consider missing it! $12 for a THREE (yes 3) course lunch. Delicious pistou soup, chice of entrees from Chicken to pork chop to pasta to steak frites (all w/ salad or french fries and an AMAZING pot au creme! Very nice service, GREAT wine list and lovely atmosphere (even have an outdoor space for warmer afternoons!).

We went for the prix fixe lunch. We both had the vegetable soup, hangar steaks, cooked perfectly, he had cheesecake and I had the creme brulee. Liked the food very much. Yes, there a plenty of flies in the restaurant this time of year, which could be an easy fix with 2 screen doors. The only really bothersome complaint was... More

7 huge horse flies fighting around landing on our heads the entire time.. Small and cramped and overly expensive for 1 pancake for a 5 year old 19 dollars ! Ridiculous not to mention the course was so small we all left still hungry with a huge bill it felt like throwing money in the garbage whatever you do do... More

We decided to dine here based on the three course blackboard menu outside. Unfortunately, the menu outside differed from the one given to us at the table. The hostess informed us that the outdoor menu was not updated and that we had to choose from the table menu. My husband was disappointed he could not have steak. I was annoyed... More

Flies in restaurant. Specials were more expensive than anything in the menu. Wine requested not available ( our table and the table next to us!) No bread given when we saw table next to us had bread . Waited long time for Waitor and finally got handwritten check! We will not go back!

Looks like a quaint French bistro from the outside but once inside that opinion quickly changed. Several flies buzzed around the room that needs an upgrade in furnishings which are in very poor condition. I ordered a salad which was laden with a very heavy oil. Not seeing much on the menu for a vegetarian, I asked but was not... More

We stopped in for dinner after seeing that they had steak frite on the dinner special menu board outside for $19. WE were also hot and the sign on the door said "Cool inside". The restaurant is nicely decorated and the seating was comfortable. But it was not cool because they have outside seating and the door to the outside... More

Having had many wonderful trips to this restaurant over the years, I recommended that our group of 6 go there for a "reunion" dinner. As there are many choices in Rhinebeck, I thought that this would give us the best atmosphere and meal combination, to have a relaxing get together among old friends. Consistent with other recent reviews, the service... More

We were impressed with the reviews and did a walk of the restaurant options in Rhinebeck early in the day and selected Arielle. Nice atmosphere, well appointed. The food was excellent, I enjoyed one of the chef's specials and my partner a terrific steak. The waitstaff needed some coaching. Rushed through the menu options, asked to repeat. When wine selected... More
