Farewell Arielle

Sadly this charming spot has closed. While not the best place in town it certainly was a step above the popular competition down the street--more authentic and better food. Guess the Rhinebeck rents got to be too much!

We've passed this place countless times but never stopped in. Just got back from having dinner here and we were very pleased.........however, the menu is completely different from what we see posted on trip advisor. The service was very personal and the food, delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food you get. Definitely worthy of your time!

The hostess makes you feel welcome, even at 10:30 PM. Our waitress was super attentive and great at suggesting dessert. Great for drinks and dessert.

We ended up here after a doctor visit and beat the lunch rush. Found it to be very cozy and the cuisine was French and quite good. It filled up quick that day and by the time we left people were waiting outside. Water is left at your table in a flip cork bottle to fill your own glasses as... More

I have dined here twice - once for lunch and then for dinner. First off the execution of everything on the menu I had was excellent, and the prix fix for lunch is a steal. This is a very nice restaurant with a charming atmosphere where one can get the "typical bistro" fare - but with perfect execution (so, basically... More

We ducked in here because we didn't have reservations for a place up the street, and it turned out for the best, possibly. The decor provides a comfy, french bistro feel. Seating is a bit tight as one would expect. There is a menu with mainly French bistro type dishes with some Italian items thrown in -- I guess they... More

I would say that the $12 pre-fix was good - but the serving size for the soup was super small. I ordered my 3 year old daughter 2 scrambled eggs (without toast and anything else) and it came to a ridiculous $9. The waitstaff and hostess were not very inviting. I will most likely not come back to this restaurant.

Having enjoyed great food in Paris and St. Malo this summer, we thought we would reminisce a bit with lunch at Arielle. It was very cold outside, but warm and welcoming inside. My wife, daughter and I opted for the Prix Fixe - getting different offerings and enjoying them all. The soup was thoroughly delicious and warming. Salmon and dessert... More

My crew was passing through Rhinebeck and just happened to see this place. Glad we stopped by! Beyond the fun French provincial decor is a delicious menu, including a fantastic prix fixe section for only $12 per head. I will be back for the cardamom creme brûlée for sure!

A very nice, small place in Rhinebeck. The food was excellent, as was the service. The menu was pretty extensive, as was the wine list for such a small restaurant. There were plenty of additional specials offered, as well. It was very quiet when we were there on a Sunday night, so getting a table was not a problem. Judging... More
