Teagan's veal parm is unbeatable and the Bostonian scrimp appetizer is to die for!! Teagan"s is a well kept secret in Rensselaer. The restaurant can be a little difficult to find however.

My wife and I went on a Friday night and found the parking lot with only a few cars, not a good sign, We went in to find only 2 other couples in the dining room, the rest were bar crowd. We ordered, service was a little slow ,food was ok but pricey. We had a 50 dollar gift certificate... More

After a very busy day in the garden; I treated myself to dinner at Teagan's. It's a casual dining place with Top Shelf food. The first nice thing is they bring you a dollop of cheese spread and crackers. The weekday specials are served with soup or salad and your entrée for under $15. it was such a nice evening... More

This was my first time going to Teagans and the food was amazing. I got the crab stuffed shrimp while several of my friends tried the scampi and we all really enjoyed our meals. The house wine is $4.50 per (large) glass so there is no question why the bar was so packed! The only complaint I have was really... More

Went to Teagan's with a group of people. The restaurant was virtually empty, but they initially refused to seat us where we wanted to sit because others might be coming. No one else showed up. The food was bland and tasteless. The decor left something to be desired.

My husband and I dined here on a Friday night. The restaurant and bar are separate and the dining room is not very big. Each member of the staff we interacted with we're extremely pleasant and helpful. After we were seated we were given the specials and our drink orders were taken by someone other than our waitress. I very... More

Visited this place last week. Not only did they move down the hill - their food went down hill as well. The food was always excellent up until they moved. We have given this place in their new location several chances and last week was the last. My husband ordered filet 'medallions'. He got a filet. When he questioned the... More

A bit hard to get to but worth the effort. We had a "no rush" dinner with friends. Nice menu and great specials which we had. They made a no breaded chicken parm for my wife. Glasses of wine were generous at $4.50. Has a brisk bar biz that is far away from the dining room. Small bathroom but clean.
