I have eaten at several thai restaurants in the area and this place is like finding a gold nugget in the street. It is by FAR the best 5STAR at least.

The restaurant is easy to find. You could make a meal out of the appetizers. The food is always excellent. The portions are large enough to share, or to have left overs. Take out is also very good.

This easy to get to restaurant off of 9/20 right over the bridge from downtown Albany is excellent. Cozy dining room not too big but not crowded either even though most of the tables were occupied. Our party of eight arrived w/o reservations and found no wait. We all enjoyed wonderful meals from beginning to end. Friendly efficient service, plenty... More

I've been to Sri Siam for eat in and take out many times and have always had delicious food and very friendly service. The portions are sized large enough for leftovers, if wanted, reheat well. The service is fast and the staff welcoming. I highly recommend this little restaurant to anyone.

Love this place. Food is delicious, restaurant is very cute and very clean, owner and staff are attentive and friendly. Best dish is the red curry dishes and pad Thai. The curry is on the spicy side.

Hands down the best Thai cuisine in the capital region. The tofu red curry with fresh vegetables is my favorite - very spicy. I also highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and the pot stickers - both delicious. The restaurant is also one of the cleanest I've been to. Highly recommend!

We have been to Sri Siam more than a few times. It's a small restaurant, if you want a seat be the window get there early! You could always call for a reservation. The food is consistently excellent and always fresh. The pepper symbol for extra heat is next to those spicy entrees. Don't be afraid to ask them to... More

Was in Rensselaer to pick up a relative from the train and wanted to grab a bite. Saw the review from Sri Siam here on Trip Advisor and decided to try. Very small- unassuming building in residential neighborhood. Nice family business with personable owner who made sure we had what we needed and enjoyed what we had. Suggested beer from... More

This was our second time at Sri Siam in Rensselaer and we were equally as happy as our first visit. We sampled a variety of Thai selections: for appetizers, Goong Todd (shrimp wrapped in wontons with sweet, sour sauce) were delectable and crunchy, the Potstickers were delicately flavored enhanced by a fabulous sauce. Then I had the Larb Kai (chopped... More
