We have eaten lunch at Rusty's several times and often it's been crowded with fair service. This time we entered at 12:30 and there were only 3 tables with diners and the service was good. Great selection of vegan, gluten free food that is quite tasty. Also have a children's menu with many choices. I am a big fan of... More

I work in RedHook but rarely eat out for lunch. Hadn't tried this place until today but was very pleased. My dining companion and I both had burgers, bacon-bleu and all american. Very moist, tender, and delicious! Sides of sweet potato fries and Mac salad did not disappoint. Lots of other things on the menu that looked good too, salads,... More

We have been to Rusty's many times and always enjoy the local nature of it and the food. Service has been "OK." On Wednesday we went for lunch with my wife, daughter and her two girls - ages 3 and 5. The place was unusually busy but we found a table and waited, and waited and waited for a server.... More

I've never been disappointed with the food I order at Rusty's! I love that they put an emphasis on farm fresh and local foods, plus there just aren't that many affordable vegetarian-friendly eateries in the area, so right off the bat I'm happy. The roasted vegetable goat cheese wrap is excellent- flavorful and entirely too filling! Sweet potato fries are... More

I love the idea of this restaurant and I keep going back hoping it will get itself together. The food is pretty good, healthy without being inaccessible to ordinary folks. Very veggie friendly. Also gluten free friendly. The service is extremely variable. Sometimes ok and inexperienced and sometimes inexcusable bad. (How about serving your (hey Dude!) friends before people waiting... More

Service was atleast an F Food was much worse. Soggy cold or luke warm sandwiches with too much dressing that taste awful. Place used to be good the first few months it opened but seems to have fallen to into the money trap..."try to sell as much garbage at high prices and hope no one finds out" trap. So many... More

While waiting for a movie to start at the theater nearby, we stopped in to Rusty's. It's simple, unpretentious and we had a very good chicken Caesar salad.

The Corn Chowder Soup was warm but even at that it was fine . Service is great. The Veggie Burger slides off the bun, seems to be slippery but good. Try the fried Zuccini is perfect. Prices are a bit high but I will say that Rusty's is the Blackbirds Hairshirt.

Now this place makes sense. A stand out of good food, great value and an interesting menu. In a town filled with charlatans and price gougers Rusty's is a refuge of great food and value

We have not walked out of a restaurant in years, unfortunately we had to this past weekend. After over a hour waiting, where our waitress indicated that our mean was "coming out in a few minutes" we left. Although we asked for the status, as we saw those who arrived after us - in a place with about 8 tables,... More
