Tasty food in a dive-y space

During a long weekend in the Red Hook area, this is the only restaurant we visited. The food was good. The prices were maybe a little high but I still considered it a good value. We got the biscuits and gravy, French Toast, and Patatas Bravas. They were all good. Because this turned out to be too... read more

WOW, can I give 7 stars? Absolutely delicious meal from start to finish. We had the calamari, chopped salad, house cured beets and crawfish stuffed chili relleno, all superb. Dinner was ham with hoppin john, duck kiev and brick grilled chicken, I want to go back now and try everythng I didn't order!! It was that good. Desserts, chocolate cake,... More

This used to be one of our favorite places to go because of the local food they used. Tonight, we ordered a burger and a patty melt. The patty melt was ok.. but the burger was terrible! We had to send it back because they had used frozen bread for the bun and it was still frozen! Then when we... More

Stopped here on our way back to CT from Bard College. Very casual ambience. Service was prompt, informed, friendly, and our meals were great. Interesting and healthy combinations, generous portions. Our party of 4 sampled the rabbit meatballs, scallops, several salads, and a seafood stew. Will definitely be stopping at Another Fork again.

The food was excellent and the service was perfect. A great little place for an unexpectedly gourmet dinner. Don't forget the wines! Our favorite was at Garnacha Blanca.

On a late-starting road trip from New York to Montreal, I pulled off the road for a late dinner with my friend and her family. We stumbled on this dimly lit (from the outside!) restaurant with an unassuming facade. Highly surprised to find a fantastic and adorable interior with a friendly hostess/waitress and delicious, farm fresh food! Very happy to... More

Really wanted to try this place based on reviews. Innovative menu, locally sourced foods, nice kind of hippy-diner vibe. But food was just OK. Burger was pretty good - but it's just a burger. Shakshuka was overcooked and pita not too fresh. Beet & goat cheese sandwich was kind of flavorless.

Posters of famous Antonioni movies welcome you to this unusual and high quality restaurant by the side of the road. A very well though menu surprises you with local produce and healthy options. Worth the trip.

This review will be so out of character considering other reviews, that I've put on my flame retardant suit... First of all, the glasses & silverware were covered with an oily residue & water spots. Not such a big deal in an out of the way place, but my wineglass actually had a lip print on it! No lipstick or... More

If you're use to quality brunch spots you won't be disappointed. It stacks up against some of nyc's best restaurants. Some standards are there, eggs, French toast as well as some more inventive options. My two complaints were they didn't have biscuits available, which was crushing news and the service was below par. Definitely worth a visit if you are in... More
