Found this place when we got off the Taconic for a break. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but what a find! The best grilled cheddar sandwich ever! Good coffee, good rhubarb tart. Pretty art on the walls, friendly staff - even when overwhelmed (it's pretty small) Well worth a stop!

Hadn't been to Another Fork in the Road in awhile. Glad we stopped by. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We had a hard time choosing lunch everything on the menu was so appealing. The Chef sent out an Amuse of Pate on Crostini. It was wonderful. We decided to share a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich that was filled... More

This is the 3rd time I have tried this restaurant, the first was probably before the current owners took over. The second time was for breakfast which was very disappointing, tasteless home fries, burned toast, but because the menu had some interesting looking items for lunch thought I would give it another try, so recently stopped by with a friend... From the looks of it there was an old country restaurant here that the new people have taken over with an eye to serving interesting, modern food, and they have succeeded in part. Inside, it still feels like a local breakfast place, with some attempts to modernize that probably go about as far as one usually goes in rented space.... More

We were driving back home from a trip to Vermont, got off the Taconic Pkwy to find a place to have lunch, and stumbled on this delicious eatery. It's nothing to look at from the outside...we actually questioned whether we should even go in but so glad we did because the food was amazing and totally unexpected. One glance at... More

Another Fork in the Road is kind of easy to miss as you drive by, but definitely do not miss it! They have a great diverse menu and they feature local foods which is always important. Breakfast is wonderful here. You can get grits, granola and yogurt with local honey, and amazing pata bravas for a start. Everything I've had... More

After 5 attempts of trying to get into this place (limited days of operation that they often don't maintain) I was ready to give it 'one last chance.' Miraculously, they were actually open and it wasn't too crowded for a Sunday brunch. Felt like a funky summer joint, not all that clean and service was lacking at best. Despite the... More

On a cold mid January weekend we stopped for lunch at Another Fork in the Road. Upon entering we noticed how chilly it was. Either heat was off or set very low. We both ordered coffee to warm up. My partner had the burger which was very good. I had the goat cheese baguette, also very good. The server was... More

went there with a friend recently because of an excellent newspaper review and also many good reviews on this site.\ We were very disappointed in the dishes that we ordered. I love hash and ordered it because the reviews said it was excellent. Mine was dry, slightly burned from being heated up on the grill and lacking in flavor. It... More

I went to this restaurant hearing so much about the excellent food and thought I'd give it a try. Me and my friends get there and are instantly met by an icy blonde who does not give us the time of day. The other blonde waitress when we asked for drinks didn't even know how to describe them and stared... More
