This restaurant is one of our new favorites! I ordered a duck soup to start - wonderful! My fish was cooked perfectly. They accommodated my dietary needs cheerfully (no wheat , no dairy). My husband's steak was perfect. Love this place. Decor is sparce, and sophisticated.

An extremely memorable meal, even two weeks later. I had the pork chop, which was the best I've had at any restaurant, ever. It included stewed apples and cheese grits. YUM! The salad (I forget the name) was terrifically fresh. The souffle (a gingerbread/spiced apple concoction) was absolutely divine.

Ate here after Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool festival. They were super busy, and yet we felt very well attended to. One of the owners served our wine and chatted with us as well. The food is really good. Raw oysters, which we shared. I had the special that night which was Bratwurst, not something I'd usually be prone to order.... More

We just passed by Red Hook on a road trip and chose the restaurant with the most people in it. It was full for a reason. Had some very tasty local burrata (local mozzarella) with candied pumpkin - yum - for starters. And then homemade pasta with local mushrooms and a beautiful wild salmon. And finished off with a pumpkin... More

Well, I think it says everything in the title! Not the cheapest place to eat, but the steaks were unbelievable! Best I've ever tasted anywhere.

Our party of six was in Rhinebeck for the Columbus Day weekend. We had been through Rhinebeck a couple of times and decided to give the town of Red Hook a pass. Don't blink when driving through because you'll miss this town. The choices are quite limited and although we wanted to eat outside we ended up inside at the... More

Fine dining with the right price. Every dish from appetizers to dessert was delicious! Met the owner/chef and his wife. Both very pleasant.

We stumbled upon this place just as they were opening. At first, we thought there were only open for dinner and then we read their sign outside, and we were in luck: they'd be open in five minutes. What a feast. I ordered hanger steak eggs grits and bacon, our daughter had fried chicken and waffles, my husband ordered a... More

Very noisy perhaps due to the fact that bar runs along almost the full length of one wall, Hard wood floor, no booths. 2 of us had the shaved brussell sprouts salad because the ingredients in it sounded interesting. It was like eating raw cabbage with a very light vinegar and oil dressing. No flavor and expensive at $ 10.00.... More

Surprisingly good for a college town spot. We ordered several things off of the menu and all were very good. Service was great, and we will be going back.
