A 70 seat American-Fusion Restaurant, the only one in the area using truly local ingredients and changes thier menu every two weeks based on the availability of products. Both the beer menu and wine list are extensive and reasonable. As well one of the only restaurants that say if we don't have we will do our best to get it for your reservation.

We had the pleasure of making our 1st reservation to this gem of a restaurant after many nudges by family & friends. We entered and were immediately greeted by staff who inquired if we had reservations which we had but I'm sure we would have been accommodated even if we didn't! We were seated right away and our server was very... More

Had lunch here yesterday- all agreed food was fantastic. Lobster mac-n-cheese was best of genre- nuanced, excellent flavors, salmon BLT was excellent, and the warm roast turkey sandwich was terrific. Pleasant, efficient service in very pretty brick-walled room. Will return!

A favorite of ours, never disappointed. Often when with a group we order several appetizers, entrees and desserts to share so we all get to experience each dish. The service is always great, the food is amazing every time. The menu changes, which offers good variety of foods to experience. I almost didn't try the kangaroo... but did, and it... More

During a recent visit to Poughkeepsie, I found the Artist's Palate; based on online reviews, I decided to go with my honey for a special night out. We were not disappointed. She had what she called one of "the best" pork chops ever, complete with delicious mashed potatoes. She completely finished her plate. I had a vegetarian pad thai that... More

One of several upscale restaurants in the City of Poughkeepsie. If you are looking for a first class meal with a price to match, this is a place worth trying. My only complaint was that they gave us a little to much food with the entree (an unfortunate trend in the restaurant industry). If you are from out out the... More

We have eaten at Artist's Palate too many times to count. When we dine at this establishment we can be assured a great meal. It is always fresh. They change many items on the menu frequently to coincide with what it freshest, seasonal and best available in the market. If you are lucky enough to dine there in spring, be... More

I can't get enough of this restaurant. My husband and I go here on special occasions, and we always choose The Artist's Palate when we celebrate our friends. I am never disappointed with the food. The menu changes so much which we love because we love to try new things. But the atmosphere is light and relaxing and it's just... More

The brick walls and interior design gives you the feel of Chelsea or Soho. Quality food with a great presentation and flavor to match. Lunch or dinner.... won't go wrong.

Came here after walking along the 'Walkway Over The Hudson' bridge, and all I can say is WOW! Just a side note, we did try to get into the restaurant 'Crave' and happy we decided to leave. We went into the back to sit in the bar area to eat, but turned around and left after hearing Hip Hop music... More
