I had high expectations after someone I know pretty well recommended this place but it fell quite short. The food was substandard and the owners particularly the male were quite rude, dismissive and couldn't be bothered. There was no good excuse because it wasn't that busy. The atmosphere was cold and not inviting. Go across the street to Brasserie. Or... More

We had a horrible problem with this restaurant a few months ago - very poor service. We later emailed the restaurant to complain, and we are happy to say that they handled the problem in a very satisfactory manner. So we are now looking forward to returning to the restaurant.

Such a great restaurant. The food was very good as were the signature cocktails. What I liked best was the variety of choices to eat. Being a vegetarian it usually limits my food choices but not this restaurant. I had the Tofu for an appetizer and it was so delicious. For a main course my husband had the salmon and... More

We dined here before a show on Friday night. They had just changed the menu and the criticism I had was that the staff was not trained on the new menu. The dishes were full of flavor and creative. We ordered the chicken and the new crispy fish entrees. The only thing I didn't like was receiving the fish with... More

I have dined here multiple times and it is one of my very favorite restaurants in the area! The food is always delicious and so unique (one time my Fiance got Kangaroo here, it was so good!). In addition the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant is superb and they always have new artwork on display every.

Went for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the place. The décor blows you away if you are into contemporary design and they show local artists works which not only adds color to the walls but creates a funky atmosphere and support a worthwhile cause. I had a three onion soup that was superb, followed by a... More

Passing through Poughkeepsie and saw excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We booked a table and were not disappointed. It was restaurant week so there were regular menu items packaged up as a three course dinner at a discounted price ... A wonderful surprise. Our two appetizers, two entrees and two deserts were beautifully prepare and tasted as good as they... More

It happened to be restaurant week so the specials were a great value. We started with a great bottle of pinot noir. We each ordered off the specials menu and were very happy with the meal. Good ambiance and the server was good too. I would definitely dine here again.

The chicken I had was like no other I have eaten. The butternut squash dish which one eats out of the gourd was so tasty. The salad was also very good and of a decent size. An apple cobbler pie with vanilla ice cream downed with a delicious cup of coffee hit the spot. Also, the service was also very... More

We drove up from Manhattan to do some leaf peeping and set The Artist's Palate as our luncheon destination based on the Yelp reviews. Turns out, 5 stars is the accurate rating ! Wonderful food, lovely service and Megan, the owner chef stopped to chat and answer a few of our questions. Yup, it's 2 hours away but we'll be... More
