New Years Eve Dinner

We had 7pm reservations to a place that we have never tried. I wanted something different than a pub or Italian. They seated us on time. The staff was friendly and our waitress was very professional. The place is alarms room with high ceiling and large mirrors with enough lights. The waitress... read more

Great service, great food, great everything. The pasta dish I had was the special of the day with freshly made noodles and shrimp, and was a Top 10 all-time pasta for me. Another member of our party had the pancakes which were great.

We ended up here tonight after arriving a little too early at The Artists Palette. They also own this restaurant. The Brasserie did not disappoint and we all had a delicious meal. The atmosphere was lovely-French deco, wall to ceiling tiles and enormous mirrors, with festive lights and garland lining the booths. Classy, vintage vibe...

I went with a group of people, so there were four of us. We couldn't decide on an appetizer, so we got two. We had escargots and this meat/cheese sampler. The escargots had a very rich flavor. They provided bread, so we experimented with different combinations of meats and cheese on bread. The bread alone is also very good, as... More

The oysters are very good west coast ones. I loved the Parisienne gnocchi . The steak au poivre was very good. The beer selection was good. Our friends had duck, burgers and salmon and all were good. Close to the Bardavon Theatre

Thought it would be a fail-safe place for our date night, we've had a great experience in the past. Maybe I'm sensitive, but here is what went down, from start to finish. Made a reservation, braved the pouring rain, arrived 5 minutes late. Host told us the only table she has is in the private dining room. I asked why,... More

Partner & I dined at Brasserie 292 a couple nights ago. We were going to see the Soweto Gospel Choir & we were looking for somewhere OK to eat. Brasserie 292 was a real find. Ambience was great: might well have been in Paris. Nor was the food disappointing. Meal opened with a delicious basket of bread, served with a... More

Spent a week on a business trip recently in Poughkeepsie. It's been a pleasant surprise - I expected and enjoyed the fall foliage, but the quality of restaurant food has been quite the revelation. Brasserie was one of those restaurants that aced it for me. Recommended by an enthusiastic local colleague, we dropped in for dinner on a weekday. I'd... More

Has the air of a French Bistro. Unexpected for the downtown area. Nice environment, very good food and the servers are very attentive.

The food never disappoints! Every time my friends and I go no matter what we get it tastes fresh and melts in your mouth. A food is worth every dollar.
