Spectacular Brunch

There were 9 in our party and they sat us in a side room, which was perfect. The décor is classic French café. Our server was Jacqueline and she was so accommodating. The food was excellent as were the libations.

Good, but I expected more. Perhaps the hype did not live up, or I went on an off day, but hype had surrounded and I feel like it just didn't meet expectations.

My meal began with an expertly crafted Sazerac cocktail and continued with six exquisite oysters from the raw bar. My main course was soft shell crab, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented atop a delicious polenta with asparagus and mushrooms. I finished with a lovely milk chocolate pot de creme. My server Sasha was attentive and friendly and I benefited from... More

My husband and I shared a lovely semicircular booth at Brasserie 292 last weekend. Every dish and every course was wonderful, from cocktails through dessert. Service was good and the atmosphere is pleasantly casual.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. We were the only patrons in the restaurant. Service was great. The food was nicely displayed but everything was very salty. If the chef cuts back on the salt the taste would improve greatly. I would not return.

If you are looking for an amazing night out, you need not to look anywhere else. The restaurants atmosphere is clean, modern, classy. It's like you walked into a high end NYC eatery. There is a lot of seating, but the booth is where you want to be so call ahead for a reservation. The menu has something for everyone's... More

Walking into this restaurant is like being in Paris in the 1920s. You expect to see Hemingway and Fitzgerald in the next red leather booth over. The cocktail menu is excellent- several specialty drinks with unusual liqueurs and fruit mixes. Classic French dinner menu, duck, steak, roast chicken. Order the steak frites. One of the biggest and best steaks I've... More

How lucky we were to find this adorable Brasserie! Food and service were top-notch. Was one of the highlights as we toured Hyde Park/Poughkeepsie area. Wish we had something like this nearby.

First, enjoy a drink at the bar. Not many places have a real expert bartender or menu with some of the classic cocktails anymore, but Brasserie 292 does. Can't remember the last time I've seen a Blood & Sand cocktail on a menu (try it, it's great). The food was also very well done. Classic French Bistro menu with frites... More
