This dinner was truely spectacular. It has been a month since I've dined and I still feel the urge to compliment! The food was some of the best Italian food I've tasted (only second to Grandmas!). The portions were just overwhelming. This was the first time in a while since we had to take some home in doggie bags. I... More

Having recently returned from Rome, I can say that the pasta I got at Amici's was wonderfully prepared and very authentic. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was exceptional.

One of the better Italian restaurants we have eaten at in years. Very nice atmosphere, cozy with great music, and outstanding staff. The breads, salads and main dish were beyond our expectations. Some of the best egg-dipped eggplant covered in homemade Marinara sauce I have had. Excellent house wine and great dessert.

My wife and i had a lovely pizza dinner on a Friday evening. Owner came out of the kitchen and talked to all tables. Staff was all friendly and obliging. As far as pizza goes it was good . Complimentary bread plate and dipping sauce was great. Decent value. But watch where you park. Apparently the adjacent lot is patrolled... More

On a Saturday night around 7:30, we were seated immediately. That should have been our first clue. After being seated, our waiter took a while to get to our table, but it didn't seem like the dining room was very busy. He took our drink orders and it was a long wait for delivery and taking our dinner order. Salad... More

You know that feeling you get when you walk into a resturaunt, you see the hostess and just know that everyone has their ducks in a row. Well not this place. Immediately following after you enter this appealing establishment there is the hustle and bustle of the takeout counter and no one to greet you. Now, I'm not expecting a... More

You can always count on a fabulous Italian meal when you come to Amici's. Does anything else REALLY need to be said??!! Well OK, I'll say more...... Their red sauce smells and tastes like your little Italian grandma used to make....thick with the aroma of garlic, ripe plum tomatoes, and basil, this is definitely homemade "gravy". Chef and owner Joel... More

Take a walk on the Walkway over the Hudson and travel down by the train station for a family friendly meal. Want pizza - okay. Want a cocktail lounge - okay. Want a nice meal - okay! Fresh seafood, daily specials - good service and nice wines by the glass - all at affordable prices

We went to Amici's last night and were disappointed. We shared steamed clams for an appetizer that were supposed to be in a white wine sauce. Instead it was a gray sauce tasting more of clam juice. I ordered the chicken Saltimbocca, one of my favorites, and it was a sloppy mess. The chicken was tender, but the plate was... More
