We attempted to eat at the Culinary Institute's Italian restaurant but couldn't get in but we discovered that the owner/chef at this restaurant is a CIA graduate so decided to try it. Are we glad we did! Comparing menus, there is no comparison ... so many choices that it's difficult to come to a decision. Portion sizes are generous and... More

I have to say, one of the best meals I have had out in a really long time. I went with three friends for a girls nite out. The service was outstanding, the owner extremely friendly and hospitable. I enjoyed my pumpkin raviolis so much. The next day I sent my neighbors, and they were also extremely satisfied. A lot... More

We traveled quite a ways to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! We ate in the dining area, as opposed to the downstairs bar. Food was presented well, tasted amazing (lobster mac & cheese is a must try!!!). During this time the restaurant seemed to get a steady flux of guests, but the wait staff were on point... More

Wanted a slice of New York style pizza while I was in town and Amici's came highly recommended. A co-worker and I met there after work and the portion sizes were not exaggerated. We each ordered a slice and I got a bottle of water to drink all for $10. My co-worker got a beer in the bar downstairs as... More

We didn't have the pizza, but it must be great, the front of the house was very busy with take out pizzas. If you walk inside to the right a few feet you will be greeted and seated at the restaurant in back. Great views of the Mid Hudson walking bridge, especially nice at night when it's lit up. Food... I live within walking distance, so I can only speak to their take out, rather than the full dining experience. I love the Tuesday/Wednesday pizza deal, the ingredients are of high quality. Great, stringy cheese and just the right amount of sauce. Love the Shrimp Scampi pizza- unexpectedly delicious. The salads are great too- love the chopped Italian salad. Next... More

This dinner was truely spectacular. It has been a month since I've dined and I still feel the urge to compliment! The food was some of the best Italian food I've tasted (only second to Grandmas!). The portions were just overwhelming. This was the first time in a while since we had to take some home in doggie bags. I... More

Having recently returned from Rome, I can say that the pasta I got at Amici's was wonderfully prepared and very authentic. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was exceptional.

One of the better Italian restaurants we have eaten at in years. Very nice atmosphere, cozy with great music, and outstanding staff. The breads, salads and main dish were beyond our expectations. Some of the best egg-dipped eggplant covered in homemade Marinara sauce I have had. Excellent house wine and great dessert.
