The food at this diner is worth waiting for -- and you likely will have to wait to be seated, as it is very popular for breakfast. However, the menu has lots of options, the portions are hearty, and the food is very well prepared. I have been to the diner several times and found the food consistently excellent but... More

The Village Diner has the perfect weekend breakfast. There are MANY yummy choices. i personally love the big omelets. The place is great for kids also. Reasonably priced food choices for little ones and they provide crayons for the wait. The place was packed, but we didnt wait long for a table or our food. Overall an excellent meal.

A waitress at Sergis Italian restaurant in Potsdam recommended this diner for breakfast. We weren't disappointed. Sue, our waitress, was very nice and the decor so cute. The food scrumptious. Wish we had room to taste one of their homemade desserts. We are a fan and hope everyone who visits Potsdam gets the chance to eat a meal at this... More

We took our son here for breakfast while we visited him at college. The menu was everything you'd ever want for breakfast (belgian waffle egg sandwich!) And you can order off the Lunch menu for breakfast! It was a great, reasonably priced meal. The homemade cinnamon rolls are to die for. We will go here every visit!!!

Village Diner gives polite, friendly service and offers a big menu with a lot of good choices. Probably not a good place if you are on a diet, but really what good diner really is? The staff is friendly and helpful.

Real nice selection of breakfasts from the typical eggs & toast to really creative (and yummy) omelets. Friendly staff ensures you'll have a pleasant dining experience.

We were visiting friends who took us to the Diner for breakfast. We had fairly quick service even when the dining room was full of people on a Sunday morning. Breakfast was served hot and everything was just what you'd expect. The price was right, too. Nothing super exciting, just a good solid breakfast establishment.

Everything about this place is fantastic. It is a little on the smaller side, so if you get there at peak meal time sometimes you have to wait to get a table. The staff are all friendly and helpful, food is great and it's such a comfy atmosphere to eat in. The parking lot is kind of in rough shape... More

This is a very friendly, down home diner, the kind where you see someone you know everytime you go there. The North Country has this phenomenon: restaurants open ONLY for breakfast and lunch and that's it. This diner is one of them. I wish they served dinner because it would be good and successful for them, however........The servers here are... More

The Village Diner is not pretentious at all - what you see (and get) is good quality diner food. The service is quick and friendly. They do all the normal breakfast items and have a nice lunch sandwich selection. My advice is to check out the specials listed on the big plates above the bar - usually some excellent items... More
