I'm a local and this is one of my favorite spots. The Bostonian sandwich is a favorite anytime I'm craving Thanksgiving... the tart cranberry-mayo is what makes this sandwich so yummy. I love the variety of teas and coffees, as well as hot chocolate. Their soups are full of flavor, and a variety of salads have also been sneaking into... More

I ate at First Crush with a group of students from nearby Clarkson University. It was perfect for the occasion. Great soup followed by a super reuben sandwich. Crush is the sort of place you find near a campus. Not expensive but tasty. Good service too. If you are in Potsdam, you can't go wrong here.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a crab blt. The sandwich was delicious but my meal was the sandwich only, no pickle only a few veggie chips (from a bag). That was not impressive. Doesn't take much to back a large batch of macaroni salad for a side for your customers.

I am sorry you were disappointed! I hope your server didn't tell you we didn't have other options. Many of our customers add a smaller version of one of our salads, or hummus with veggies, soup, fruit. If we have it in house we are happy to accommodate! Please come back soon! More

Stopped on a whim, had greek salad and platter. Salad was a stroke of culinary genious, deconstructed in a way, ingredients were very fresh, flavors were exquisite, presentations much better than most, overall dining experience was very good. Tzatziki sauce needs more flavor. humus was very well done.

With very limited places to get a genuinely good meal in our area, First Crush has become a favorite. We've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a nice little cozy and unique atmosphere. It's small inside but seating is comfortable. Food is consistent and very good. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

I ordered pasta Primavera as an entree. It arrived in a small (1 cup ) dish. The pasta was stuck to the bottom of the dish with the sauce covering the top. It would have been nice if they had mixed it together. The sauce was tasty but 1 piece of broccoli and 1 mushroom are not enough to even... More

I am the owner of First Crush. We are a little confused about this review as we do not serve pasta primavera and would never present a dish as described above to a customer, ever. Pasta stuck to the bottom of a 1 cup bowl ( I don't own 1 cup serving bowls for anything other than soup) with sauce... More

My husband and I went to dinner at this bistro when we were in town visiting. We both chose our entrees from the special list. His had salmon and mine had lamb. Both meals were DELICIOUS!! We enjoyed the wine selection and the comfortable atmosphere. Once we got home we ended up looking up the wine we had to buy... More

I called and they recommended reservations at 4:30. We were one of 2 couples when we arrived. We each ordered a roast beef wrap and they were pretty good, the beef was lean, not outstanding. The waitress brought my husbands wrap and when she set it on the table the veggie sticks slid off the plate and onto the bare... More
