Very good food

Place serves really good food worth generous portions. Service is ok and it makes sense to drive there for decent lunch/dinner. Also has a shop attached to the restaurant for the women ... Worth visiting.

Sprague's is a little known gem in the Southern Tier of New York. The food is always great and the portions are large. I especially enjoy the Berries on a Cloud. The restaurant has ample parking and seating. The service is fast and the servers are courteous. There is also a gift shop with unique gifts and the famous Sprague's... More

My wife and I were in the mood for a little trip away from the crowds that were out Christmas shopping. From Jamestown to Portville, NY is about a 1 hour trip. It's well worth the drive. Their restaurant is very large and gives the appearance of being in a grand hunting lodge. They specialize in growing their own turkeys.... More

I have been going to Sprague's for some time. Excellent food, excellent service plus an interesting place to visit. If you are from the area or visiting the area-make time to see and have a meal at this restaurant. You will be glad you planned to eat here.

Had a large group in for breakfast. They got us in and out really fast which was nice because we were in a hurry. The ambiance is really cool with all of the Christmas decorations and anamatronic geese on the ceilings! They also had real life reindeer out front you could take pictures with. The breakfast food was awesome and... More

Evidently this is a good place to eat, when we went, the place was packed. We went up to the hostess and asked to be put on the waiting list...which they don't have! You can wait in line and hope no one walks up the the front of the line and gets seated ahead of you..very poor organization. We may... More

My daughter and son-in-law have talked about taking us to this place since they've there and took us there a couple of weeks ago during our visit. The breakfast food was wonderful and the service extremely friendly. We hit the restaurant on an off-busy day and I'm glad, because just the entrance area alone tells you that this place is... More

Good food and service. Plenty on your plate. Nice people. Go during the sugaring season and watch maple syrup being made.

Best restaurant turkey around, and also breakfast anytime. Looking for gluten free, they have gluten free pancakes and remember it is all you can eat with pancakes. Also have gluten free waffles.

Found this while vising my daughter at SBU. So, so good! Don't let the line deter you - it moves quickly. Excellent food. Went for breakfast and dinner. Not disappointed. Love the atmosphere. Nice and clean. Will be back!
