This is a great family restaurant. They make their own maple syrup products, grow their own turkeys and have excellent food and service. You can have a variety of foods off the menu including turkey dinners and pancakes. Try it. You will like it.

Sprague’s is a throwback. Its kitschy and slightly tacky, but in a warm and comfortable way. What this exterior hides is a very capable kitchen that has been able to capture the down home cooking style that so many are trying to imitate and evolve today. I am a firm believer that Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t need to have any infusion... More

You can't go wrong with spragues. Especially breakfast. Deep fried french toast with real maple syrup. Do it.

This was an amazing place. We took a nice drive out here and was very well worth it! A great half day activity! The grounds were clean and very well maintained. After,we toured the Maple farm itself, we went into the gift shop/ restaurant. The food was unbelievable!! Some of the best food I ate! Plus, prices very reasonable. The... More

Sprague's is a family favorite, and has been for many, many years. It's so good in fact, that we always make a special trip to Portville from Bradford, PA when we are in town. They are really good about seating large parties on the spot, which is a must when all 4 generations of my family go for a meal.... More

Recently ate at this restaurant as an extended family of 10. Temperature was not to my liking (my food was not hot), service was indifferent (we had to request refills on drinks). Decor is cute and the size of the dining area is quite a surprise (it is very large) to find in such a small town.

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast when we are in town visiting family. We always go for breakfast and never leave disappointed. It's amazing food and huge portions for a great price. We went this past weekend with four generations of family and everybody loved their food. The atmosphere can't be beat, who doesn't love... Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Large portions and the turkey was so moist. Loved the stuffing as well. Good value for the money.

I was in Olean for a week, finally found this restaurant for a Sunday brunch and later in the week for a lunch. The brunch was excellent but had a long wait and a big crowd. This is a large scale volume restaurant that offers very good to excellent quality dishes. Portions are large and I think that is a... More
