Chez Noelle has been around forever. Sure, the location is a bit odd (across the street from auto body shops) and some might say the decor is a bit tired. But who cares?! The food and service are excellent. The menu changes seasonally. Don't miss the Coq au Vin over the silkiest mashed potatoes and the apple tarte tatin. They... More

Off the beaten path in Port Washington ( -- one block off Port Washington Blvd), this restaurant never disappoints. I've been doing a fair bit of travel recently, but when I returned home I decided I wanted something different. Chez Noelle. And I'm glad it came to mind. The fixed price dinner started with "creamy pasta in a red sauce,"... More

I love food from all corners of the globe! You may even call me a "foodie." I dine out a lot, but nothing beats Chez Noelle! I've been going here every year around my birthday and other occasions for the past 20 years and it's always been outstanding. I never leave hungry or disappointed, only with a smile on my... More

Food was excellent and the service is friendly with a French flare. Chez Noelle offers the classic French menu and an exceptional prix fixe offering (usually 2 or 3 choices). The prix fixe menu is based on the chef's selection of best fresh quality foods available in the market. It's as if the chef is encouraging the diner to try... More

My wife and I dined here about 25 years ago, and then again in May. Nothing has changed or been changed. The food is formal, classic French, presented by Rene with that classic Gallic humor. The decor hasn't changed in 25 years, either -- I mean, no one has changed the carpet, painted the walls, or done anything in the... More

I have read some negative reviews that suggests the possibility of a worm hole upon entering this established restaurant that led the reviewer into another dimension as he or she turned the corner. We took no such turn. A knowledgeable and friendly Rene took our order, which we agreed would be the filet mignon. My wife had one, as did... More

this restaurant has really good food that is properly prepared. For 30 years this place has offered high quality food. Although the restaurant name suggests it is a French restaurant and the maître di is French the food is continental with offerings such as Dover Sole, rack of lamb and long Island duck. The service is great. The only disappointment... More

Very horrible experience atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. Not even worth explaining. Just felt the need to warn others.

This must be one of the best French Restaurants in Long Island. Food is top quality and service is excellent. We always have a wonderful experience when we visit Chez Noelle. It is a must if looking for a first rate romantic dinner.
