For a great meal Greek, seafood or salads at a reasonable price stop by and say hello to Joey the owner.
I've heard a lot about this place so thought I'd give it a try. I made a reservation for 7 of us which included out of town relatives and two children. The place is very outdated, I'd say 70's or 80's. I'm all for nostalgia but it was not clean. The bathrooms too could have used a scrubbing. We were... More
As a poor graduate student this was a bit out of my comfort zone, but the food was delicious and the service was awesome. Turns out they will pay for your parking if you tell them the number (using an iPad, no less). Portions are generous, too. It was somewhat strange to get french fries with my falafel, but I... More
This restaurant has excellent food it's also warm and inviting inside. The only issue I would say I have with it is the cramped seating. I have been here several times with a group of friends for the fondue which is really good but as far as fondue goes I do prefer the atmosphere of toast around the corner a... More
Z Pita is an excellent restaurant. We just had dinner there Saturday night, in the Village of Port Jeff. Very nice ambiance and Delicious food. We started with some delicious appetizers, the spinach pie was delicious and so was the Squash soup and Greek salad. I ordered chicken cutlet and shrimp, covered in a marinara sauce with mushroom and mozzarella,... More
The food is always hot and delicious. My family and I have been many, many times. Never had a bad meal or bad service. You won't be disappointed
Stopped by on a Sunday morning and was greeted with a smile.. Coffee was good . The eggs Benedict was great . My husband had an omelet . Everything was great. Will be back soon
Personal overseeing and service by the owner makes this restaurant a success. Varied menu and therefore something for everyone. Great breakfasts with the best hot cup of tea on Long Island. Nicely placed, walking to all the interesting points of this lovely village of Pt. Jefferson. A little crowded, when busy, as there isn't a lot of room between tables.... More
A little pricy. It is cheaper to order dessert fondue platter. It's plenty especially when you have the cheese fondue. Small place so make reservations. We will go again.
My family has been coming to Z Pita for fourteen years and the owner, Joey, still delivers quality food at reasonable prices. This remains a family friendly restaurant with a hands on owner. The Greek salad with gyro meat is always crisp and meat is satisfying. The moussaka and Greek lasagna offer good portions and are very good. The new... More
